I was a sophomore in high-school, and I distinctly remember walking home from school that day. As usual(since my home was only a HOUSE, occupied by three of us, not connected) I dealt with the event, on my own. My father was perverse and dysfunctional, and my older sister was breaking away from the nest/cave,that the three of us shared. It was a bad time for me , but all of that time in my life was BAD. Dealing with JFKs death, and the pandemic race issues of the time, was nearly CRUSHING FOR ME. Funny thing???? Times now are about as BAD. But I grew up and pretty much matriculated from the misery of my adolescence. Seems as though things have gone down the tubes once again. Excuse me for dragging this conversation DOWN THE TUBES. ............ RJM
