I appreciate the comment John! I am not a cajun fan, made it for my hubby. I always do the taste test test though. I had my left over eggplant dish, which he does not eat.
I’m half Italian so eggplant has always been part of my diet - eggplant parmigiana is my favorite.
Great shot, Joe. Well done.

What a creative post, John!
Thank you, Mike. I’m glad you liked it.
I like them all, Mike, but favor #5. As i’ve mentioned before, I prefer a close-up view in my own photography and have always admired your close-up work. The ideal would be a few wide angle shots to provide an overview followed by a few close-up shots to focus on the details, similar to what you’ve already done in this set.
With that said, I always share my photos with my wife, ask her opinion before posting and listen to her advice. She has a good eye as I’m sure your wife does too.

We had hoped to catch a ferry to visit one of the islands but everyone was fully booked. So when we reached Oban I managed to catch a small boat to see the seals. It was very hot and hazy not a lot happening with them, just seals doing what seals do! We passed by a salmon fish farm with around six netted vessels, I took a quick shot.
Yachts and bridge were taken on our way to Oban.
People have been crossing the water by ferry since the 16th century before the Connell bridge was built in 1903, it’s a cantilever bridge, 160 mtrs (525 ft)long.
The last shot was taken by Bob with his phone as I came back from the boat trip.

The three things I always admire in your photos, Sylvia, are an interesting subject, great color and wonderful composition. This set is another beautiful example of your talent.
Your cooking always hits the bulls-eye with me, QD, and this dish is no exception. Well done.
