Any Beginner Tips&Tricks

Go out and shoot. Find someone to hang out with that is willing to mentor. Go out and shoot. Get a program on your computer to look at your images. Save some and try to make the next batch better. Go on some photography web sites and see what good photographs look like. 500PX ,1X.com. Fred Miranda, Ugly Hedgehog, etc, Mostly go have some fun, it’s more about taking the pictures than actually having them. Also don’t pay attention to some of the grumpy A H`s on this site.

Does anyone own a Panasonic FZ1000?

I bought the FZ1000 last year and used it for 2 months and sent it back. I thought it took very soft shots. Really didn't like any thing about it.Some folks love it.

I've burned...

Hoping winter is coming to an end soon (Ha Ha) we usually burn 4 cords. We never have an electric bill over 100. I do like to burn wood but it can be a real pain sometimes.

My biggest gripe about DSLR cameras, and Camera Companies

Better to burn out than to rust out. Just my 2cents. Just got done loading a roll of 35mm from a 1938 Lecia that I shot the other day in my computer.

Winter hobby.

I’ve been tying for a long time also. Mostly tie steelhead and salmon flies anymore. You do nice work!

Like Gene said The RX10iv is a the best bridge out there. It will not replace a DSLR. Just in Mexico and had the RX10iv on a whale shoot. Got some wonderful shots. Wish I had my 5D MKiv and an L lens. Have Fun!!!

Culling my archive

It’s a constant project for me. I would like to get down to 10000 total . I’ve culled about 20000 and have another 20000 to go.
