I agree. Flying to Ireland in a few weeks and plan to keep my gear very close. I had someone try to pick a camera out of my backpack in Vegas some years ago, so I have been extra careful ever since.
I prefer #1 also, but with #3 a close second.

I have followed the UHH newsletter for a bit now and decided to join the forum. I am particularly interested in nature and landscape photography, and always searching for the alternate view of things. I have used various cameras over the years. I am a big fan of the Olympus equipment and currently shooting with the OMD with several of the new prime lenses plus the 70-300mm.
I frequently take trips off the beaten path, such as Yukon dog sledding and remote hiking trips. I will attach a few examples of my attempts to capture nature.
