It's a golf course, and the uneven ground is a sandtrap around the green! :)

I think it was the result of clicking on a link from an email. She's quite gullible when it comes that sort of stuff. Shortly after I fixed that issue, she got another one. This one was in the form of a screen that appeared upon boot-up. It was designed to look like the home page of Homeland Security. Scary as hell if you're a computer novice. It even activated the laptop's web cam and had a small window that showed the user's image, real time!

My ex had that exact thing happen to her a few months ago. I had to reinstall the o/s to get rid of it.
