Thank you for your input and the fact that I have to format it to fat32. I'd just like to listen to more songs rather than the same 22 or so repeating if I don't change CDs.

Assuming it plays Mp3 files, you will probably will want separate folders for different music styles. Your Mp3 player should have options to choose folders, mix folders and all that rot.

Also, I recently got a tip from Jerry on this forum for this thumb drive:
https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-16GB-Ultra-Flash-rive/dp/B077Y149DL/ref=sr_1_3?sr=8-3.

This is a perfect drive for a car as it's about the size of your thumbnail so it doesn't stick out like a normal flash drive. It's USB 3.2 but is backward compatible with 2.0 so it works in my car. It does run a bit hot though, but so far, so good.

Have fun.

You should start your own forum where you can ban people who don't meet your standards.

Although I'm pretty capable on a computer, the dash board on my 2018 RAV4 LE pretty much defeats me. They tried to get me to upgrade from their basic model, but why pay for MORE stuff that you don't understand was my reasoning. Anyway, it does have a CD drive that I've made many CDs for and that's great, however, I noticed that way under the radio, close to the console, there is a USB port and I was wondering if I put music on a thumb drive and plugged it into the USB port would the radio recognize it and play the music? Thanks...

Can't speak for your car but my car recognizes mp3's on a usb thumb drive. Your car audio must have software that recognizes thumb drives and mp3's. For my car, which is brand new, requires the thumb drive be formatted with DOS Fat32 and be 32GB or less.

I first tried it with a drive that I had formatted with NTFS and it didn't work. I reformatted it with FAT32 and it works fine.

I found the format and size info in my car's operating manual.

I believe that once it hits the internet all bets are off and it is public accessed, so the copy write no longer exits for what ever it is

I doubt that is true. Most copyright infringements are not pursed because it costs a lot to sue and you pretty much need to prove damages to get any money.

Jerry posting old comics might violate copyright laws but he makes nothing from it and lawyers wouldn't likely attack him for it particularly because normally it would be like trying to get blood from a stone.

On the other hand, companies, like YouTube who has very, very deep pockets and perhaps even the HOG, they need to be careful because they could be sued for allowing their patrons to post copyrighted stuff and they are making money from it. Suing Google/YouTube for music copyright infringement could yield wads of money, so they will stop you in the tracks for use of protected music.

I watch pool streamed live on YouTube and they worry all the time about jukeboxes playing in the background for fear YouTube will can the video for infringement. I can see the Hog worrying about it as well as far a this cartoon stuff goes.

We had a specially made maple wood plaque made for a photo , the wood maker suggests an epoxy to adhere the photo to the plaque, I am not familiar with any expoxy, these 2 were suggested, any recommendations? I was going to have Staples print the 8x11 photo on glossy paper, is there any special paper I should use instead.

The plank/photo will then be coated with a clear epoxy resin.

He is suggesting an epoxy product called Promise TableTop Epoxy Resin.
ArtResin is another brand that the web suggests for glossy printed photos.

I think Epoxy resin is way overkill for a photo. As a long time woodworker, I'd think any quality non-yellowing polyurethane would be just fine and much easier to apply than a two part resin finish. Polyurethane durability is way overkill for a photo, it's used on steps, table tops and all that so a photo hanging on a wall doesn't need all that durability. Non-yellowing may be important, so get non-yellowing poly. UV exposure will yellow most any finish (or photo) over time, so keep the photo and it's finish out of the sun as much as possible.

Daddy, guess what: This group was from 2004

The nice work was done with either a Sony F717 with a Zeiss lens or a Panasonic FZ20 with a Leica lens. Both cameras were 5mp, at the dawn of the digital age I am taking some super pictures now with my Nikon equipment, but I have never come across two such excellent cameras as those I had back in the day. The lenses were incredible. Both cameras $500 each at that time, and the lenses were permanently attached. I still have but don't use the F717. My sister was given the other one, which, I am sure, was pawned.

That's even better. I should have said you're posting some nice pictures recently.
I had/have a Panasonic FZ18 from that era with a Leica lens. Loved that camera and have some nice shots taken with it. It was a super fun camera to use with it's zoom lens and all. Easy to use as well.

None of these will get old.
Well done and a bunch of beauties here Mike.

Quick interview, Birdie's opinion of cats is in the language you can't use in public range now. The only printable part was "I hope a BIG dog picks you up in his mouth and carries you around then spits you out and see how much you like it!"

Ha. When I was a kid, my large, tri-colored Collie caught a full grown Robin and was carrying it around the yard in his mouth. When I saw him, I told him to drop it, which surprisingly he complied. The Robin stumbled around a few steps then took off w/o a problem. That was about 65-70 years ago and I still remember it vividly.

Cats aren't as gentle with birds, and hopefully, thanks to our UHH friend here, he'll have a happy landing.

What everyone else already said, but, I once had a card that worked, then worked intermittently in my PC slot, but always worked in my camera. This of course panicked me a bit fearing I might lose pics some day. I copied a few thousand mp3's onto the card and stuck it in my wife's car radio which had a SD card slot. The card has worked in there for over 10 years and still works after I gave the car to my son. My guess was the metallic connection on the card was failing and the computer slot was more sensitive to that than my camera. I almost never removed the card from the car slot whereas the camera to pc move was constant.

Bottom line is IF you can't find a software solution, find another less critical use for the card or deep six the thing.

Gorgeous Pics Joe.
I really like how the woodwork has been preserved and maintained on the building.
The 2nd pic with the ducks in the wake is spectacular. All are really sharp and interesting. You're doing some nice work as of late.

Fascinating ! Thank you for posting and wherever is moot. That’s not the point.
Thanks again.

Thanks Alien. The forum cops get their panties bunched up over some really strange issues.

Occasionally they go nutz because a mistake is made and someone posts by mistake a photo gallery post in the Main Photography section. They make a big deal out of it because they are full of themselves and enjoy bullying people over nothing much.

In this case, it seems pretty clear to me my post was in the correct section, and those supposedly getting all recycled over it are just a few that have not been able to bully me in the past, and it's really not related to the subject matter at all and likely just a personal problem with them. I'm rather certain one of them complained to
Admin. about it, because it was moved, but it's as you say, a moot point.

It is not a photograph it is a drawing illustrating an optical illusion. To me it has little to even do with photographic philosophy. Was there supposed to be a linked article? For sure the GENERAL CHIT CHAT Section!

Possibly a photo of an illustration, it is a jpg after all.

Sorry you can't relate to the mind/eye not picking up on everything it sees vs what the camera sees. Obvious example is taking a picture of a flower and not noticing a spider or other insect until you bring up the picture on your computer. Another is spending lots of time editing a photo and think you got it right and the next day you notice you got it way oversaturated/overcooked, or left a blob from a mask, or never noticed how the horizon was crooked. I'll take your word for it you don't get the relationship to photography, I guess your just special.

I think the photo/illustration and my statement clearly shows how it relates to photography, so it certainly does not belong in a non-photography chit chat section. There are a number of forum sections it could have been posted and imo, and plenty of others, it was posted in the most appropriate section.
