Great image, really evokes the mood. :D
Why can't hedgehogs just share the hedge ?
Flash is fine but you'll need two heads. One thing to watch out for is your reflection in the glass if you stand behind the camera.
Use some kind of remote release. I usually drape a black cloth over the camera and tripod as they too can appear in the glass
as reflections.
Nice images gawler. I especially like the Wedgie.
It doesn't come easy so never give up. This image is a goner IMHO, we've all had them, back to the swamp..
Thanks for the lovely sentiments guys, it's much appreciated.
Couldn't resist posting this image from a friend of mine JoMac of a Darter drying off at sunrise.. Wish I'd taken it.
D300, ISO 400, 1/250, f8.. Sigma 150-500 @ 500mm.
My old dog Didge, bull terrier-basenji cross. Gone but not forgotten..
Fascinating, love the image of the truck..
Nice Dog...
I'm never happy about touching the mirror, I've seen some dreadful results, being surface-silvered they scratch really
easily and you can't un-scratch them. The crap on the mirror looks untidy but doesn't affect the image, if a light brush doesn't fix it IMHO I'd leave it be..
There you go, I reckon this is it. A Samurai or Man Faced Shield bug.. Others call it the Red Stink Bug.
http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/12490071Interesting that one of yours has blue markings, must be the lighting or perhaps it's a M/F thing.
Nice images again Indrajeet. Are these with the D600 or D7000 ?
I know that it's a Shield bug but the actual name is eluding me at the moment..
You hold the zookeeper down Mickeys and I'll slap him.. :)
Way to go Wendy..Brilliant fix.
Hate to be picky but the title of the original shot is 'Leopard', it's in fact as we all know, a Cheetah..
