Nice set, the two most beautiful times of the day, the sun rise with the mystery of the day yet to come and the sunset preparing and for another sunrise and new day.
I still have my sx10, my first camera that had some control over. I had always used point and shoot so there was a learning curve for awhile. It is basically the same settings that you would use in other camera. I go back and look as some of my pics and there were some good shots. I learned how to use av and tv settings some manual and night shooting. It was a good camera to learn the basics on. I used it for about two years before getting my first dslr. They controls a not quiet as intuitive as the dslr but if you practice and read your manual you can have some good results. I can not tell you the settings, that is something your have to learn through study and practice.
Interesting, you need to describe more of how you do it, some demos and commentary. You have some good interesting shots. Good job.
Like all of them but one and four are outstanding good. Lots of contrast that make for good B&w.
You did good. They all depict a different mood or atmosphere.
I am not a Nikon user but I have that lens, first generation on a Canon. I have used it with both the 7d and 5dii with not any problem. I would probably prefer it paired with the 7d on the account of it being a crop frame and it has better focusing in low lower light. It does take some time to learn the lens. On cloudy days I usually over expose about one third to two third of a stop. Shooting in raw you can always adjust or compensate if under exposed.
That looks like the one in life time adventures.
I have never used ebay for manuals but I every camera that I have bought field guides or manual from Amazon written by different authors. I have found the ones by Wiley publishing to be well written and gives some good tips as well and explain info so you can understand it.
Is that the Russian made transport Plane?

As for a favorite color, probably sorrel or chestnut with good markings. That has been a conversation for years but it seems that bay color is preferred by some as some argue that you get the most desirable traits for working horse in that color.
Insects in flight are difficult good job.
I glad to find out that I am not the only one that sees beauty in dried up plant or blossom, some think I weird for shooting just about any thing...
I believe from my experience from about a year ago that you might have an infection which is common after surgery and also your eyes will be light sensitive for awhile. For the first three or four months, I had to have shades when outside even on partially cloudy days. I had problem with the first eye and the waited an extra two weeks for the second one.
Excellent work. The lighting is good for this type of photography, usually lighting is a problem.
