He appears to be an amiable fellow, could be the best 30 minutes of anyone's day! These are beautifully done photos.

Thanks for visiting and comments, it is always greatly appreciated. One of the best 30 mins of the year so far. I think if the rocky bank hadn't been so steep it may have come right up to us.

That's a very unique photo. I would like to see it zoomed in more to bring out even more fine detail.

Thank you CO, unfortunately that's the best I could get it was a long way out on the lake and even with a 600mm lens it needed quite a severe crop to get this.

My nephew, just turned 18 years old. He works 2 jobs, goes to college and builds and drives stock cars in his spare time. He wanted a few shots with his new toy.

Drove up to the top of the world this morning to Mount Evans elevation 14,265 feet.

On the way down we saw this Marmot standing up looking at us. Just had to take his photo.

Marmots are one of the largest members of the squirrel family. They can be two feet in length and weigh up to 11 pounds and live in colonies of about 10-20 individuals and eat many types of grasses, berries, lichens, mosses, roots, and flowers.

Greta shot love the fact he's living on the edge

Great result. Whenever I visit a zoo I always take a small spray bottle with window cleaning fluid and a microfibre cloth to try and clean the glass then hold the lens hood right against the glass to minimize the reflections, especially if using flash.
