Really nice work.

Our butterflies are just about done for the season. Our Dutchman's Pipe vine was loaded with Zebra Swallowtails this year, but, Monarch production seemed down on our Milkweed plants?

The Ladybug must tread very softly while between the Honeybees?

I have seen very few Bees at all this year and have heard that our local Bees are suffering with some strain of virus!
An old saying, "If it ain't one thing, it's another!?

Only in Italy could you have a Jewish wedding where a cantor sings a classic Italian love song in Hebrew. Play it all the way through it is truly beautiful.

Very nice we have just been to see Borcelli and certainly enjoyed this rendition almost as much as his because of the setting, the young boy singers and the very talented cantor!

I use the 300 f4 with a 1.4 extender on a 7D every day for wildlife action and have always been thrilled with that combo.
I have previously tested a 400 5.6 and prefer the 300.

Feel free to check out my wildlife photography blog for examples of what can be done with the 300 and 1.4

Here's a shot I took earlier this week.

Tricolored Heron.

Swamp Gator:
Your Tri is just wonderful with the dark reflection!

[quote=Jolly Roger]I really like No.s. 1 & 2.
No.3 needs the wing and the rear torso cloning out of the shot.[/q

Jolly Roger:
He never once has said these are edited and ready to print. These are just as came straight out of the camera from on rapid burst.

It is unfair to just jump right in on him as if he missed something!?

These are wonderful very difficult to obtain photographical subjects from "the wild"!
The photographer cannot just stand up, wave his arms, yell cut, stop and back up so I can reshoot this scene!
Your suggestion is warranted, but, also taken for granted, Sir!

Thank You so very much for your offer to allow me to print your image, which I will treasure. I would like to do a pair which I can then hang together. Number 2 for sure as that is a scene I have emblazened in my "mind's eye" for life!

Your Wife's Gosling's is wonderful, I would entitle it
"Hello World". Please tell her I love it!

These must be resident Canada's if you have these little one's locally.
I only wish I had been interested in waterfowl photography
in the old day's. I only shot weddings and did not have the kind of gear it takes to do bif justice!

My email is: sassman85@gmail.com and I Thank You for sharing your talent with me like this! I may have Adorama print these for me.
Warm Regard's,
Sonny

Thanks, Sonny...my wife has some great duck shots...so much so that some folks who carve wooden decoys have asked if they could use them for reference

I have tried to get her to submit them to DU...

So maybe I'll take the lead and try it myself...

Like the idea of aluminum...never even thought about that.

Thanks for the kind words
G.

G:
I might like to have one or 1 and 2 printed on aluminum and signed for my den. Please let me know if you are willing to do that and the cost's involved?

We have many birds in SoFla but, the one thing I truly miss about the Midwest is Waterfowl, especially Canada's and Snow's. Thirty years ago, we decoyed up to 5,000 Snow's at one time

Your work is just wonderful and you tell me your Wife's is better? I used to carve decorative decoys and sold my very first GW Teal for $1800.00. My hands just won't let me do it any longer! 150 hours on that Teal
I would like to see some of her work, also?

If you can get Canada standing on the ground and shoot down on their eye level you may get some interesting interaction between them. Head shots of the Family ( 2 or 3) groups can be very good also!
There should be an Art show somewhere that you two could do together if you want to. It is a great way to write off new camera gear?Best Regards,
Sonny

No 2 on download is on of the best bif photos of Canadas I have ever seen. It is just wonderful. It is almost a carbon copy of a famous ink drawing from the 1930's rendered by Richard Bishop who also did one for the Federal Duck Stamp
series.
Great composition and color!
Thanks for sharing!

P S:I would guess that Duck's Unlimited might be interested in seeing these' As you most likely know DU is based in Memphis.
I served on DU's National Wildlife Art Show committee for many years when I lived in Kansas City and have an eye for Waterfowl Art!
Let me know what you do with them, please?

This would look wonderful printed on aluminum!!! The clarity would be enhanced,it would also make wonderful thank you notes or card's. I just love them!!!

They will feed from your hand. They prefer in shell peanuts which they will crack with their bills. Begin by piling fresh peanuts below your feeder if there are no cats around!
We have them in some rural or outlying areas where we still have Scrub Oak trees in South Florida.
They are a very animated species!

Received in an e-mail. I can relate to this.

After a long day on the golf course, I stopped in at "Hooter's" to see some friends and have some hot Wings and drinks.

After being there for a while, one of my friends asked me which waitress I would like to be stuck in an elevator with.

I told them "The one who knows how to fix elevators."

I'm old, tired, and pee a lot.

Bcheary:
I would have said, "both of them and their Mothers'! Very Nice!

angler thank you for the comment.

Paul: I had a 1929 Model A 4 door soft top coach with 29,000 original miles and a 1930 Coupe both in 1954 with original paint
and tires.
Wish I had both of them today just as they were.
The '29 had a windup clock on the rear view mirror which was original equipment.
