Thanks Garry from Bucks, I have a sister-in-law in Aylesbury, wife comes from there too, I think that's in yr area of Bucks.
From the original to the OOB I see you also increased the exposure on the bird as well. Overall a job well done.

Yes, Aylesbury is about 15 miles away going North, I am located right at the Southern tip of Buckingamshire.
Yes, I edited quite a lot of the original photograph, as you can see it was not a great shot at first.
I was always told never delete anything, you never know what you may produce as you learn different techniques, as was the case with this image, one minute it was hidden away doing nothing and now it has a fabulous 3D look in my humble opinion.
Glad to see that the D7100 worked out, I got mine a couple of weeks ago and although early times, I am really impressed with it. Love the pic of the bear.

I think you have done a grand job there Garry. Can you post the original pic that you did the OOB from plse.
Thanks
Baz
Here it is Haveago, the original file as requested, as you can see it was not a particularly good shot, so to create an OOB from it made sense.
Gave me something to do on a quiet Sunday afternoon

I took this photograph in the Stellanbosch area of South Africa, I know OOBs are not everybodys like, but me personally I thought this image was enhanced by doing it as an OOB (Out Of Boundary)
Interested to know what people think.

Fantastic shots. You can almost reach out and touch them. Keep up the good work. I think you've mastered this technique.
Thank you very much for the kind comments, I have enjoyed creating them, and trying to pick out detail.
Great Photos, have you any technical specs, i.e. exposure, iso, etc, thankyou
After completing some OOBs (Out Of Bounds) in an earlier post of my trip to South Africa, I was asked to put up some more images, well here they are, I hope you like them.

Thankyou everyone for your very nice comments.
I took this panoramic shot consisting of 3 images stitched together at Amakhala/Shamwari Game Reserve in South Africa.
The view was absolutely stunning as the sky and light changed dramatically and this was the scene that greeted us as we appeared from over a hill, Mother Nature was of course showing off.
Nikon D3100, Nikon 18-200 3.5-5.6 lens, F16, 1/250sec, ISO200, Aperture priority, manual focus.

Great shots, I know how difficult it is to get birds in flight photographs, well done you should be well chuffed.
Thankyou everyone for your very kind comments, I have some more to put up, so will put up later for those interested.

did you use topaz for the shadowed corners??
I used the old version of Photoshop 7 to make the shadows.
