I took this photograph in the Stellanbosch area of South Africa, I know OOBs are not everybodys like, but me personally I thought this image was enhanced by doing it as an OOB (Out Of Boundary)

Interested to know what people think.

I absolutely love it! I've recently learned the OOB method and find it addictive. I like the way you bent the frame and put a shadow to the bird. I would be interested in knowing the shadow method. My biggest problem is getting the selection done correctly so that the edges look natural. Anything with hair is a real bummer to select.

Here it is Haveago, the original file as requested, as you can see it was not a particularly good shot, so to create an OOB from it made sense.

Gave me something to do on a quiet Sunday afternoon

Thanks Garry from Bucks, I have a sister-in-law in Aylesbury, wife comes from there too, I think that's in yr area of Bucks.

From the original to the OOB I see you also increased the exposure on the bird as well. Overall a job well done.

Yes, Aylesbury is about 15 miles away going North, I am located right at the Southern tip of Buckingamshire.

Yes, I edited quite a lot of the original photograph, as you can see it was not a great shot at first.
I was always told never delete anything, you never know what you may produce as you learn different techniques, as was the case with this image, one minute it was hidden away doing nothing and now it has a fabulous 3D look in my humble opinion.

I think it's pretty cool. Sometimes you have to think outside of the box.

They are different and I agree, sometimes you have to look a little deeper at an image to see there is something a bit more there.

Thanks for your comment.
