I also believe your caption will add to your entry. Made me smile.

thx all for the comments but time required that it be submitted before the changes could be made but I'll just see. Thats how we learn. Kitty as far as the title they won't show that til after the judging is done. They just use the title for ID and display. I reworked the pic but didn't change the cob web/spider? I will advise when the contest is judged 10/6/2011

here is a rework with your comments used

After thinking more on the subject try moving the car back and the little lady up close so she is as big as the car then they will share the point of focus. Just a thought. Like to see the result if you try it thx. good luck.

I need some help..........I feel like my granddaughter isn't easily noticed but I don't know where else I can put her. Any ideas?

For me the subject is the car not the girl. I think if you set it up with her and get real close fill the frame with her lovely face and you will be happier IMHO

Do you still have the key? if so that really opens (no pun)
the possabilities to use it as a metaphore for other ideas.

Sadly no the key is gone but will look for one that would fit. It is rusted shut anyway so it would not have to be the right one. PS the more I look the more I think that was a spider who was inside the lock.

I love rusty, old, tough stuff!
The photo is great, aside from the saturation being a bit high.
Would removing the spiderweb make a difference? I dunno... I kinda like it there.
But I DO think removing that bit of "whatever that is" up in the right hand corner, would help.
Maybe crop it again if You don't have software to change it to blend with the background.

When I matted the pic the tree limb in the top right hand corner was covered. thx for the tip. It does look better without that distraction.
