Thanks, but I had about 40 folks comment yesterday and know one else reached that conclusion. Remember this is being printed on canvas, it will lose some of that brightness. I do know this from experience.

I have had things printed on canvas thinking it would lose some of it's brilliance but to the contrary! It turned out even brighter. I was disappointed and actually took artists crayons to tone down some of the colors.

As far as no one else reaching that conclusion, I guess I am the odd one, but I have a very sensitive eye to color and how those colors interact with other colors. Remember, when you blend photos etc, one of the biggest mistakes is not making sure the colors and light look like the rest of the setting.

I just showed it to my husband and he said 'that looks photoshopped" and I asked how? He said it looks like the heads are pasted on".

A nice try but may I make some suggestions? Their heads do not look like they belong. The reason is the light is very different on their faces than the rest of the scene.

You need to mute the tones considerably on their faces, making them more antique looking.

Take the brightness down a few notches and see if that helps.

From that point, re-evaluate and ask on the forum if it helped.

I feel almost certain these would be manual only, with no remote flash or zoom adjust capability.

Having TTL and Manual is better. Adding HSS & SS are features normally found only on higher priced systems like Photix and Pocket Wizard.

The yn-622n-tx and 622n combo is less than 1/3 the price of a comparable Photix Odin system.

You are right. In order to adjust the flash output, you do have to go to each flash and adjust it.

I consider unethical and very poor business practice to change an order without the buyer's consent. If you buy from a reputable dealer that would have never happened.
I do not know if you have tried the lens yet but if I were the buyer I would be discussing over the phone this order. You ordered what you ordered not what you received. If there is any reputation left in a seller like that they should give you their apologies and accept all expenses implied in sending the lens back.
Surely I know you will not do business with them again.

The OP said he checked his original order and realized he in fact had ordered the wrong lens.

Take the hit now. You have 16mm and the one you received is 14mm. You won't see that much difference between them. But 16mm to 12mm is a significant difference.

You might try making the action wait for your response each step to try and troubleshoot what is happening.

Thanks for your input.

Or maybe I should just recreate it. That might be simpler. Just always wonder why these thins happen, especially after it has worked flawlessly for such a long time!

I have used Photoshop for years and have never encountered this recent problem.

I work on my images (real estate photos) and have a recorded a batch sequence. This resizes all the photos and saves them to a folder as a jpg. In the last few weeks it has been 'losing' 3-5 of the images (usually 25 images are batched at a time) I have worked hard on. I can't find them anywhere so as a back up I save each as a tiff elsewhere to make sure I don't lose my edits.

It really is a pain to have to double save them. Not to mention the space they take up on my hard drive.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

You need to print this. Excellent image! I would perhaps crop a bit to the RT of the guy to get rid of the black post to clan it up and make that less distracting.

I agree with the idea of the crop

Great image!
