Photoshop CS6 Issue

I have used Photoshop for years and have never encountered this recent problem.

I work on my images (real estate photos) and have a recorded a batch sequence. This resizes all the photos and saves them to a folder as a jpg. In the last few weeks it has been 'losing' 3-5 of the images (usually 25 images are batched at a time) I have worked hard on. I can't find them anywhere so as a back up I save each as a tiff elsewhere to make sure I don't lose my edits.

It really is a pain to have to double save them. Not to mention the space they take up on my hard drive.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

You might try making the action wait for your response each step to try and troubleshoot what is happening.

Thanks for your input.

Or maybe I should just recreate it. That might be simpler. Just always wonder why these thins happen, especially after it has worked flawlessly for such a long time!
