After watching the video I learned that I will never try to repair a modern camera.

I am looking for advice on disposing of darkroom equipment. I have two enlargers, one 4x5 and another 35mm with all accessories.

There are also developing tanks, trays, washing tanks, etc.

I am prepared to donate some or all the equipment to a college or school. The only requirement is that the large equipment (enlargers) be picked up from my home.

This is sadly the end of an era for me. With the pain of spinal stenosis, and the ease of digital photography I do not foresee going back to darkroom work.

Tried to donate mine a few years ago. No takers!

Maybe some of you can explain this. The American Legion Hall is a local meeting place for various groups. It has a kitchen with hot and cold running water. The hot water smells like sulfur (or something), but the cold water does not. Why one and not the other?

I had a house in the Pocono mts that had a very deep well and we had the same proplem. It was something about the oxygen level in the water. For drinking, if you left a container with the water out for a little while the smell went away however when taking a shower using hot water there was nothing you could do about the odor.

Just recieved a canon 55-250 efs mount lens for my son. It was priced the same as some of the offerings on ebay but comes with a much more generous return policy. The lens was rated ex. and what I recieved was a lens that looked almost new and works perfectly. This particular lens even had a canon lens hood which is an extra included for the same price as the same lens without one. I opted for free shipping and recieved the lens in about 6 days. I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

I don't think so. I'm sure they would glad to sell you a membership online.

I've recently ordered a couple of prints from Costco online. I first post processed them the way that I wanted and downloaded them to the Costco website. I told them that I do not want them to adjust the prints and what I recieved back were prints that were exactly as they appeared on my monitor.

My first real camera was a Kodak Signet 50 35mm camera. I recieved it as a gift when I was 13 in 1960 and enjoyed it for quite a few years. I've sold or have given away other cameras that I have owned but I have held on the this one. Its sits on a shelf in my basement with some other old cameras I collected over the years but it still brings back memories every time I look at it.

They will put a hold on your payment until the buyer recieves the article and has a couple days to inspect it.

Not much going on. This one was kind enough to pose for me.

Great shots, I was there last monday and had very few opportunities. Managed to get a couple of shots of eagles perched in the trees near the parking lot. Well done!
