try a polarizer or rip the glasses off the nasty offenders and stomp them into a pulb at their feet. Art is more important than sight for god sake.

You may have had camera movement. If you had your stabalization on. I think nikon are in the lens (I have Canon) If you have your image stabalization on and are resting the camera on a solid surface or on a tripod the IS overcompensates and introduces shake. Make sure your IS is turned off if you are resting your camera on a solid surface or using a tripod.

Raw is the answer. And not that tough to master. I teach it in one one hour class. But its just a starting point. Once its processed most of the post processing is done in dng or TIFF. I would save everything in tiff once the intial processing in raw was complete. I think you will find more platforms using TIFF in the future. The main problem with JPEG (Joint professional and engineering Group) is that its a lossy form. You don't lose resolution every time you look at it, contrary to what some people believe, only every time you work on processing it.

I am the guy that knows how to process raw and also knows that it takes some concentrated study to accomplish what you think you can do with a quick note. I am also a professional photographer with 40 years experience in photography. I also have a degree in graphic arts and teach photography at a University in British Columbia. I am also on a break which is the only reason I am explaining myself to you.

You may be putting the cart before the horse.
If you don't known how to process RAW you shouldn't be shooting in RAW. CS5 has a raw processor which is a trick in itself. If you are planning on becoming a top notch photographer or even a semi pro. You have a passel of learning to do. Take an online course in photoshop and learn what joint professional engineering group means and tagged image file format. You need to walk before you run.

Yup its a white balance issue and can be fixed easily in pp.

First things first. You should be shooting with a flash. Which would freeze all your action. F8/200th.sec. Manual setting.
Secondly you should shoot everything in RAW and your white balance will be looked after in PP.

Its just too busy. Hard to figure out where the main subject is. I would crop out the bus stand and tree or re compose the whole photo from a different angle.

The 6D came out about a month afte I had bought my mk 11. I was shattered. It appears to be all the mark 11 is and more for less money. If I had to do it all over again I woudl opt for the 6D. Or the mark 111 if I could afford it.

The camera is probably flash synced to 200 or 250/th

I have the mark 11 and love it to death. If you are considering moving up to a pro grade quality camera such as this and most pro grade cameras you better get ready to spend more money. You need pro grade glass and in the rare occasions you will need fill in flash. The little pop up flash units on less than pro grade dslrs are not much better than old fashion flash bulbs. Good for snap shots at birthday parties at best. Nothing is less flattering than a straight on flash with all its lovely flat white faces and red eyes included. All flash photography should be done with off camera flash and with two or three sources if possible.

You are going to love it like the rest of us on this page.
I bought mine just before the Mark 111 and 6D came out.

The mark 111 is everything that is missing on the Mark 11 it has the burst rate of the 7D and 61 point focus of the 1Dx
also it has a price tag you need to get a second mortgage for. So I hear the Mark 11 are selling qauite reasonably new now. I have a 24-105 lense which is a workhorse does close up to portraiture. I have the 100-400 and it is also brilliant. So get ready to spend mucho dinero and join the rest of us full frame enthusiasts in the poor house but with lots on nice pictures to look at.

Gentlemen: I was not intending on insulting anyone. However, when someone makes a statement that in sports a crop sensor camera is used at all times and is the best camera for sports shooting any time all the time (paraphrased) I wonder as to where they are getting thier facts. I don`t know the extent of your professional involvement whether you work for a small town weekly or Sports illustrated. If you perport to be a professional sports photographer you should get your facts straight before you mislead a neophyte budding photographer on these pages. First of all I am a professional photographer and have benn since 1975. Secondly my friends who are professional sports photographers use 1dx cameras and 5DMk 111 which have the same burst rate as a 7d and 61 point focus to go along with the superior resolution of full frame. The 7D is a fine camera, I have one. But it doesn't do the Job my Mk 111 does.
