Thank You 63. I'm finally getting the hang of this photo-ing stuff. What fun. My sis arrives tomorrow for a month. What a pic taker she is! Puts me to shame. Competiton is good though, and she sure does bring it on... Love your work, go Girl!

I'll be there, Cam... I know the region, recently explored the Upper Williamson River... I live just 40 miles west of Crater Lake, so it's not far... I love the birding in that region and calling coyotes to the camera (I never kill anything). Next week is a trip to the coast and the Redwoods to show a visitor, then to Klamath and points south.. . Thanks for the invite!

Thank You 63... Kinda suspeted something similar with my connection. Having very limited patience with computer issues (a constant problem), I just don't have the enthusiasm to re-load and re-send anything. Sooo, I don't bother.... But, one more time, and just one picture this time... Here goes:

My sister still lives in Florida (Tampa area) and complains about not having enough subject matter to photograph. she says she is sick of shooting birds... I still spend most of my time in Oregon and feel the same, although this cannot be realistic for either of us... Seeing so many gorgeous shots of birds just inspires me to get back to the swamps and load up some memory cards. ... Macro has opened a new world to me, though.. For all those posting such beautiful bird shots, many thanks

Bret... Wow! you sure did get some great color into that photo. Finally finding time to work on this shot after a day of house cleaning- YUK! Really appreciate all the input from everyone. Never was a competetive person but seeing so many awesome photos on this site inspires me to work harder.

mahma, many thanks... The "sunburst" seems to be a distraction for many people. I refuse to alter my pics with Photoshop so am having to find ways to accomplish my goals by other means. You remark is well appreciated...
