jfrm117 posting may just be the answer. But why did the pictures not be destroyed in a proper way.

Hi all, it has been a long time since I was here in the forum.
I live in Shippensburg, Pa. I just heard that VOLVO is moving there HEADQUARTERS here and expanding there plant to a massive size.
It will be bringing hundreds of jobs over the next few years. Spread the word. You will have to live where trucks and Amish buggy's rule the road. catman

I started a thread dealing with this subject in the General Chit Chat area. Please continue it there.

Thank you

I'm moving this thread to the right area.

So it seems that Volvo is moving its headquarters to Shippensburg, PA.
That would be Volvo, non car division, as Ford now owns Volvo cars. But is seems now Ford has sold Volvo cars to a Chinese company called Geely Group.

Volvo already owns both Renault Trucks and Mack Trucks.
So does this mean that they will be building there Volvo trucks and maybe Renault / Mack trucks at this new plant?

As far as moving its headquarters to America from Sweden, I don’t see why. Setting up there American truck headquarters in PA makes since, but not moving its global headquarter here.

Just my thoughts, I could be wrong

PS: It seems that Volvo has acquired Nissan Diesels as well.

I am a hobby photographer. I own a Nixon. I do lots of "Street" shots. They all happen so fast and I do not always get to catch up to the people in time to get a release.

I am also a writer and I wanted to self publish a book at the end of the summer. I had planned on using some of the photos in the book.

I will use flowers and trees, but the poeple shots are very interesting.

Should I get a business card or carry release slips?
Most people just walk away before you have a chance to ask them anything.

Anyone here know how to handle this situation?

This question has come up quite a few times. But the answer most often given it that you really need to speak with a lawyer who knows something about this kind of stuff.

You would think:

I understand from what I have read on the forum that high end Nikons have a built in way of removing dust from the sensor. Something about the senor shacking when the camera is turns on or off.
Great!
So why are not other cameras manufactures doing something to keep the inside of there cameras clean. Just blowing something off the sensor and or mirror with one of those Rocket blowers is not going to remove the dust or (?).

How about if one would remove the lens and replacing it with a body cap that is fitted to a low pressure vacuum. Over the span of a night the vacuum would remove all the dust from inside of the camera. Yes I know, there would be a need for “clean air” to get in so that a vacuum would not be created. But it is a do able. Just a thought, what do you folk’s thing.

Why is Gods name are we still in Afghanistan?

It seems that we are supporting the Afghanistan government, and there president Karzai has said he would back Pakistan in a war against America.

It has become all most normal for an Afghanistan soldier to kill America or UN soldiers. But if an America soldier kills an Afghanistan, oh boy the stuff hits the fan.

Now it appears that we have been looking the other way as the Karzai family (big time drug dealers) move “H” into euro countries.

So why are we still there? Why are we letting American soldiers get killed or shot up, for folks that want to blow us up so they can get a nice spot in paradise?

Long pass the time we should have packed up and gone home.

I don’t give a rat’s ass about Afghanistan, do you?

I was hoping some one would notice that this wheel stop was set wrong. It is set back wards. The way it is set, if R / R wheel hit it, it would just push it out of the way and we would have a run away or rolling stock in the ground.

Setting it the correct way and when the R/R wheel hit it, it would jam the lock piece harder into the wheel stop.

#1 is shot from the wrong side of the tracks. No-one going foward can turn on that photo although the folks coming the other way have multiple choices. Right ?

The tracks all lead into a storage barn (3 levels). These tracks are double switched so one can go away from the barn and on to the main line or from the main line back into the barn (your track). The second track from the right is in / out bound from the elevator for the upper level tracks.
Two remove your equipment from the upper level, you need to move it out of the storage barn and onto the transfer table (3 levels). From the transfer table your equipment needs to be moved to an elevator and lowered to ground level. You would then head out to the second from the right track and onto the main line.
The track that is on the far right is a main line and also is used to bring riding or work cars out of there ground level barn and then onto the main line to be joined with power units.
And you thought learning to take pictures was hard.

PS: You would be surpiced how many folks get messed up and put there lady in the dirt (jumping a switch and de-railing there power unit and or cars).

You can just pass on any future posting form me.
Not everyone is an artist like you are.
I do enjoy your work. But you can pass on viewing anything from me form now on.
Good by.

it doesn't matter if you dog is in the shot or not, the focal point of this image is the young ladies neither regions, not her face, not her arm, not her leg, the focus clearly is her crotch.

Your posts are strange, asking for C&C on this image, to say the least, is crazy. I will no longer be reading your posts or looking at your images, I think you need therapy or at least a "real" friend in your life to talk to. You seem to crave attention, an internet forum really isn't the place for that.

My name is Ania, and I'm new to this forum and to photography. I love nature and macro photography. I would love to become better at it. I just got Canon Eos Rebel XSi. Sometimes I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing :), well it is getting better, This forum has helped me to solve few problems I had already, and I didn't want to procrastinate registering and be a part of it. Here are some pics I took recently, please give me some feedback.

#1 draws you in, but the very center of the flower is a bit out of focus. But the rich color makes the shots.
#3 has a deep message to it. Like when you need to sleep, but can't wait until tomorrow.

Welcome to the group.
Post often and ask about stuff often.
