Does anyone know the release date for the DL series cameras? Nikon has delayed them a couple of times because of the earthquakes. I am waiting for the dl25-500 specifically. It looks like a great travel camera. Please let me know.

I am planning to do a lot of traveling. I have a Nikon D60 DSLR. It is a pain to carry it around with the kit lenses. Can anybody recommend a good superzoom bridge camera? I have been looking at the Panasonic LUMIX FZ1000cp camera. Does anybody know anything about it? I would appreciate any feedback. I like the Nikon and can get really good pictures with it but it is bulky for travel.

Hi,
In my area Salem/Keizer Oregon all we have are: The Shutterbug with 2 locations (in Salem) Diamond Wireless and some other ones that I have never heard of that are miles away. Also there are Best Buy and Costco close by.
If you can't get it locally you can at least check it out in a camera store and get a good deal on line and buy it that way. The only problem is the return policy and shipping.
One other thing, here in Oregon we do not pay sales tax so that helps a little!
