I get a Geeks posting almost daily. Today I saw a subject in How To Geeks titled "How Does the “8x” Zoom on My Point-and-Shoot Compare to My DSLR? " and right under it when I clicked was this add "Canon vs Nikon:Did you know about this one camera setting that ruins your pictures? " Guess where the link went ?

A friend couldn't make it and gave Betty and I a few Red Sox tickets. Todays game against Baltimore was fun. We had seats at the Green Monster level 2, seats 1 and 2. Next game on Thursday we're at 1st base, box seats.

Sarge, if you use a PC windows has a sharpening tool in photo gallery. I find it useful to tweak the sharpness on an occasional photo, and it's free!
Right. What I was talking about was a software program from Reikan called Focal which hooks up a Canon or Nikon to your computer and tests your lens and camera for precise focus.
Thanks

I just treated myself to a refurbished D7200 from Nikon and it's just about the best camera I've ever had.

Thank you folks. I might have just saved $100.00

In photo #1 the iris (black) of the eye actually looks empty as if it were a hole.

Sat out in the garage having a coffee and decided I was wasting time so got the D7200 and the 18-105 and the 55-300 lenses.
I had fun.
Thinking of getting Reidan Focal software program for nailing focus. Do I need it ?
What do you folks think ?

EVery menu has an X to close it and tabs to open it again when needed.
