I just may do it.
I would then sell my D7100 with MD-15. I am the original owner & still have the boxes.
My D7100 has 1200 shutter actuations cause i use it only as a third camera.

Can you place a protective cover on the touch screen on the D7500.
I have one on my Apply phone, but is it wise to not use one on the D7500?

I will just keep my D7100. The D7500 does not communicate with older lenses. It also probably does not have a built in focus motor for older lenses that do not have a motor.

Need some feedback on this. D7500 had 20 Megapixels, the D7200 has 24. I could care less for video.
Plus there is no vertical extra battery grip for the D7500.
Comments? Should i get the D7200 or the D7500.
My D7100 battery grip will fit the D7200.
Or should i just save $$$ & keep my D7100??

Well i downloaded the firmware a second time & the D7100 still will recognize the Sigms 18-250mm.
Put the 18-300mm back on & it works fine.
Yet put the Sigma back on the D7000 & it works fine.
I'm done f-ing with it. The 18-300mm will stay on the D7100.

I can also give Sigma a call as recommended.
I will have to see if i ever did a focus check on the D7000 with the 18-250mm.
The D7000 is famous for back-focus.

Tried all of the above. The D7100 still rejects the Sigma 18-250mm?? I guess i will just go with the 18-300mm lens.

My Nikon D7100 now rejects the Sigma 18-250mm lens. This just started when i removed it to swap in another lens. I reinstalled the lens & now the camera rejects it.
I tried the lens on a D7000 & it performed fine. I even tested it on my D7500 & it works fine.
I installed a Sigma 18-300mm from another camera & it focuses fine works to perfection.
I cleaned the contacts on the lens & still no good. I am not hearing the OS on this lens working. If i mount it on another camera i can hear the OS running????

I always take the ships excursions. As stated before, the ship will wait for you if your tour is late.
Carry enough ID to get you back on the ship. Very little cash, you will need $$'s for tips & a little more & 1 credit card.
Carry it in your front pockets or money belt.
Once they see a top line Nikon or Canon you are a prime target. Carry them in a diaper bag, not a camera bag.
I use an aftermarket camera strap, not one with Nikon or Canon in bolt letters.
Enjoy your cruise.

Thats what i installed. Classic Lightroom CC. Windows 7 ultimate is the OS.
