Very nice set of shots. I need more patience to get a good shot of the birds around here.

Very nice shot of Gruene. I really enjoy going there. I was there last year when Lyle Lovett was performing. I got to video a couple of minutes of his practice session.

Nice shots. I sure wish we had a peacock or two at the San Antonio Zoo.

Welcome to the Hog. What an interesting job you must have. I have a friend who took photos in a Denver bar of "globes" floating around the room. Someday I'll visit that bar.

Sheenagh, these are great shots. You can really feel the power your dog has as it runs through the water. I agree with others that the first photo would be great in a dog magazine.

This is only a guess, but due to the really hot weather in Texas and Oklahoma it would be to keep both the living room and bedroom cooler.

See you are from TX. It does get hot in either state. You have more humidity, OK has the hot wind on the Big Pasture! One needs to experience it only once.

I know what you mean about experiencing it only once. My grandmother lived in Guymon, OK from about 1908 until her death in 1975. We visited as often as we could. Thank goodness most of the visits were at Christmas time.
