Because you're not paying attention, let's go over it again. The groups of people who make up the 9% of the Wisconsin e*****rate who don't have the type o government issued photo ID that is required now in this new law include students, and poor people who don't drive, and some of the elderly.
Even though college and university students have a photo ID that was issued by a state-owned school, the law was written to purposely exclude them. The Wisconsin Legislature wrote this law in a way so that student IDs, to count, have to have signatures and a two-year expiration date, which no student IDs have. Drivers licenses, for example, have a 10-year expiration date. So they added all of these new requirements that only apply to students. Not only that, you have to bring proof of enrollment for your school. You have to get a separate ID. They actually have to print separate IDs for v****g.
Some poor elderly folks who don't drive and don't have a copy of their birth certificate anymore to get a state photo ID are effected. The 89-year-old woman whos been v****g since 1948, and she would have to pay $200 to change the misspelled maiden name on her birth certificate, for example.
And of course, "coincidentally", Scott Walker closed many DMVs and shorted the hours that many of them were open, to deal with this new surge of people needing to get ID's to v**e     just in case people were not clear about the purpose of these new v**er ID laws to suppress the v**e. Now only 31 of 92 DMVs in Wisconsin are open five days a week.
When Scott Walker and the Republicans took power, they were determined to keep power. And this is how theyve tried to keep power, by making it harder for people to v**e.
Its not just this strict v**er ID law. They eliminated early v****g on nights and weekends. They made it nearly impossible to register v**ers with grass roots v***r r**********n drives. Scott Walker even tried to eliminate same-day v***r r**********n in Wisconsin, which is extremely popular. And it turned out his own son had used same-day registration in the last e******n. And he was forced to back down. Scott Walker and Wisconsin Republicans are waging a war against democracy. The minute they took power, they were determined to do everything they could to keep it.
Because you're not paying attention, let's go over... (

You are the one that isn't paying attention. I only mentioned Wisconsin because of the ridiculously large number touted in another post/thread which if extrapolated to the other 49 states would add up to MILLIONS of your fictitious "suppressed v**ers". The OP didn't mention Wisconsin. It certainly didn't mention Scott Walker and neither did I. But there you go, off on a tangent yet again with your Don Quixote impression.
"War against democracy"? That's actually kind of hilarious, even coming from you.
Here's an excerpt from the OP which you obviously didn't read because either the source or the poster isn't on your unicorn and puppies list. (That's an allusion to the fantasy world you live in.)

As the Supreme Court noted in 2008 when it upheld Indianas photo ID law, we have a long, documented history of v***r f***d in this country and it could make the difference in a close e******n. That is why states should also be requiring proof-of-citizenship to register to prevent non-citizens from illegally v****g.
So following your twisted logic, that must make the Supreme Court a participant in your perceived "war against democracy" as well. OMG, the horror! A v**er disenfranchisement conspiracy at the highest level!
