I rented the Z6 for one week recently. I used my SB700 flash on it but not my Mini-TT1 or Flex-TT5. They should work on any Nikon.

What are your thoughts on the z6? Gonna get one?

No such thing as a D6......yet.
D760 coming in just a few months.
I much prefer the Z7 to the Z6 and may sell my Z6 as I do not do video, haven't made up my mind yet.

I meant z6 not d6.
I doubt the d760 rumor as that would hurt the z6 sales.

Mine works. No TTL but fires the flashes great.

OK but I mentioned TTL in the subject. LOL
So how useful is the non TTL mode with the flex stuff?
The flashes fire at full power?
So you have to manually set the camera?
I was hoping for a D760 to replace my D750 but I think that Nikon may not make any more full frame DSLR's and the Z series is the future.
How do you like the D6?

I have a PocketWizard Mini-TT1 and Flex-TT5 for Nikon. They mimic a Nikon speedlight. The camera "thinks" there's a Nikon speedlight on the camera. I've looked at the metadata of photos after I've used the Mini-TT1 on the camera. The metadata shows there was a Nikon SB-900 flash on the camera.

Thanks but i know how it works the stuff works but the question is do u have a z6 and how did it work with the z6.

I am talking about the Pocket Wizard Nikon TT1 and TT5 units.
Has anyone tried this with the Z6?
Thanks in advance.

What does it mean when a lens is "suited" for full frame? If it's a FX lens it's designed for a full frame camera.

Lately I've been fighting off GAS attacks. I currently have two dslr camera bodies, D7100 & D200. I have several lenses and only 2 of them are suited for full frame, Tokina 11-16mm 2.8 & Nikon 50mm 2.8D. I shoot most with a Tamron 16-300mm. I shoot a variety of themes but landscape and architecture are favorites. I'm satisfied with the pictures that I get from the D7100 and I also like the bright light shots from the D200. Lately, I've seen a few very good deals on used and refurb D750 bodies. My question is, would I see a worthwhile difference if I go to a full frame body as opposed to what I currently have. I would also need to eventually buy some FX lenses. Would it be worth it? Thanks

I noticed that it is only on pics at that location in the studio. Im thinking a strange light issue. I have checked lens and sensor all seem ok. I wonder if the light hood would have helped. I will have to wait till the next shoot to experiment. Thanks all for suggestions. Btw i love the d750 and 24-70 2.8

Its a storage pain not a conversion pain. I would rather wait as my d750 works fine. A average shoot is 15-20 gb the conversion would probably double that as i sm not going to delete the nef files
