You just might want to make prints of your favorite phktos, especially family.
Every so often my two boys post old pics ( before digital) on facebook or instagram that I never even knew they had.
Now I wish I'd taken more pics!

It's nice to see that although their driving still sucks, the quality of the videos is getting better.

Love the hockey pics, not the usual boring newsy stuff. Especially like the facial expressions and action.
Cleveland at night??? Pics are pretty cool, like the lights at night, but I drive truck for a living, just happy to be in boring 80F El Paso, Tx for a few days instead of frigid NE Ohio. From Youngstown. I hate Ohio winters. Spent 25 years in Hawaii. I'm spoiled. Aloha!

I didnt get a big zoom years ago with film...just couldn't afford one. So I zoomed with my feet. Not quite the same...but.
He has a point. We normally use our eyes at wide angle or telephoto/zoom (kinda) for everyday viewing. Example.. you see the whole scene (wide angle), but focus on whatever (zoom) and move closer to see better. Mid range is kinda waltzing thru not paying much attention.

The biggest problem with other people's photos (not the ones reading this or other photo forums/classes/studies)...
But your average everyday person who just wants to push a button and have professional quality photos appear like magic...BECAUSE cameras are smallish and cheaper. You get what you pay for. Most people don't want to pay the study/learn/practice time. It's easier to blame the camera/lens/whatever.

A very wide angle or great tele/zoom lens makes us look at things differently. Then we can start to take good...as in different...shots.
JMHO, of course. :0)

Cheer up, there's always people better than you or me at anything.
But... there's always a ton of people that are way worse!
Or won't even try!
but yeah, those are really really way past whatever I can do.

I like ACDSee. If I do it by folders( I try... but do not succeed at storing everything by date).... I can find duplicates. And do a bit of editing as well.
Also have LR, but ACDSee since Win 97 or earlier.
I also have CRS syndrome... :0)
