Go with raw. Real food contents. Less stool volume. More expensive for sure. But hey, aren't those dogs worth it?

I just reviewed the entire menu and can not find AEB. Do those letters stand for auto exposure balance?
Reply and I'll see if I can find it in the e manual I have on my iPad

In seeing what makes classic excellent photos, I've read the book, "Take Your Photography to the Next Level" by George Barr. I found I look to see scapes in a completely different way now.
His explanation of why images work is very thorough.

I use both external flash and a trigger both bought from Strobe Pro in Calgary Alberta Canada. Specifically, model YN560III speedlite and the YN560 TX manual flash contoller, both by YongNu.
trigger is $65 Cdn and the flash is now model IV for $110 Cdn.
I have the black camera and did need to scrape the contact points but after that all is working well. I too could not get any of my previously used Nikon flashes to work. Different contacts I suspect.

Just in case you are on a Mac, Keynote does it all and then some, including Ken Burns effect multi music, burn to DVD and the bonus is no evil files unwitingly downloaded with your "free" software that ends up corrupting your email, hard drive etc.

Could you name your inquiry better than the open ended one you chose?

Perhaps save hundreds of us from opening a link we would not have done since in my case I don't own any Nikon equipment.

I hope you'll keep this suggestion in mind next time.

Hi Joe,
Yes i own it, no I have no plans to upgrade it. I love too much to mention here. The only downside I know of or read about are video access little red button is difficult to access, no audio mic plug in, limited number of lenses, and it is as of yet one Sony camera that can't be tethered using lightroom.
Capture One a LightRoom competitor uses tethering and I just bought the $300 software for their unbelievable 90% discount of $30 dollars, Sony raw only.
Its AF is second to none and image quality is great even when using their kit lens.
People also knock it for its relative small size, but that is why I love it. I ride a bicycle and I always said I 'm only buy and use p&s cameras so they would be with me on my rides. Pulling this camera from my cycling jersey rear pocket is as easy and the results match up nicely with the big DSLR Canon and Nikon heavy weights.
Remember the best camera for you is the one that is with you when you want to take a picture.
Hope this overly enthusiastic reply will get you into the Sony family. You won't be disappointed.

I'm using it on a Mac. The code is written for Mac but there is an identical program for Windows.
the C1 Pro 8 is very powerful and in their webinar they stress that it works as fast as it does and the way it does because it takes advantage of Yosemite OS and something similar in Windows.
If you try it, its fee for 30 or 60 days let me know what you think please

Hello,
I can't believe the deal that a member pointed out to me when I complained that Lightroom doesn't support tethering for Sony a6000. This pro level PP software cost $300 but currently they are promoting it for Sony camera users for the unbelievable price of $30 yes, that's a 90% off deal !
So here I am about to use it before I get too well versed in Lightroom since they each have very distinctly different approaches to the post production methods.
What sold me was a professional studio photographer in Toronto who was favourably impressed with Capture One despite using LR for several years. His last comment was "once a raw image is imported, the algorithms used by Phase One ( Capture One ) is so good you seldom need to tweak anything. I'd sooner be shooting than post producing so that sold me. btw. NASA uses this software for all their photo needs.

Scott Kelby got me keen to try tethering in his discussion of Lightroom 5.7.

Although it will work with the downloaded Sony driver for Sony's PlayMemories app, sadly the camera can't be found when attempting to tether in Lightroom.
The driver I used says it is compatible with Sony a6000 cameras but . . . . ..
I did change the camera tool setting to PC remote under USB Connection, that got it working with the PlayMemories.
Two tech support calls to Sony got the comment that they don't trouble shoot third party devices.
YouTube shows tethering on a Windows platform only.

Can anyone solve this issue?

If so, you would be considered a gentle person and a genius by me!

I own it, love it. Sold my D810.
Gary Friedman's manual is excellent.
Sony lenses are more than adequate althouh limited in choice.
The speed of the auto focus will amaze you!
11 frames per second has helped me catch action shots that I routinely missed with other cameras.
The menu is different than the Nikon set up but works as well.
The only down side, video. The record button is difficult to access and no external mic, unfortunately limits sound to mono and it does pick up all sounds since there is no directional control.
Also, if you use a trigger or on camera flash that are not Sony you need to file or sand off the black paint Sony used for cosmetic purposes on the internal portion of the hot shoe.
No camera is perfect but this one for its focusing speed, size and weight and most importantly IQ makes it a winner in mho.

Earlier you posted "she is the only person in the photo, wrong see the person near the shore line to the right of the girl. Wonder if your U.S. A. laws would require a release for that person?
