Thanks, I'll dump the red stuff out and give it a try.
I purchased these tubes and was pleased with the results, but you have to get really close to get good shots, and i always used manual focus and a tripod. It was an experiment for me to see is I wanted to buy a macro lens.
Because of my physical limitations, I decided that for the occasional times that I wanted to shoot close up flowers and/or bugs, the extension tubes. Worked just fine. Does that help?
Borrowed this from a friend to try before buying it, and liked it, but except for the distance from the subject, I didn't get any better shots with it than I did with my extension tubes. You have to be right on top of the subject with the extension tubes.
I am a novice though. When I figure how to post photos, I will.
These are marvelous!!!! I have been trying like heck to get one simple shot of my humming birds with no luck. How long did you have to wait to get these?
Does anyone know to post pictures from the iPad or do I have to do it from the computer.
Thanks
Love to take pictures and am learning my new DSLR Canon T2i. Right now working on close up flowers and trying to figure out manual settings for shooting at night. Have already learned lots here.
Also from the Philly area, and a new user. I shoot with an old Kodak Easy Share point and shoot ( that I still love) and my new Canon Rebel T2i.
