shot these two photos on a cruise with a point and shoot two years ago. what do you think about these -junk them or save i like them myself but wifey doesn't. can anything be done to improve.

Is there a special way or solution to use to clean a lens

I also purchased a ti3 3 mos. ago with a 18-55 mm & 55mm-250mm lens. i think the 55-250 lens does a great job. You can't expect a lens you can buy new for 180.00 to preform like a 500.00 lens. With the IS function you get good quality photos out to 250mm. you just need good light or a tripod. Taking action shots at 250mm is a different story with a 180.00 lens or a 500.00 lens.. Good shoping

shot this pic this morning. canon t3i 55-250-mm lens set at 250--f/8 1/50 sec iso100. the time was about 7:15 just getting light
