Given that this store also has an s in the middle of it's name you can rest easy. Their return policy is absolutely stellar and second to none weeks or even months after the purchase. They can also recreate and reprint your original invoice if you happen to have lost it and need one for a manufacturer's warranty claim.
Use them without any anxiety. They are great people.

Well said...you're probably getting the one I returned. Nothing wrong with it, but touch screen is missing...

I know the bird's reflection caught your eye first and compelled a try at salvage. You did a great job of retrieving the bird to give the reflection a subject. Nice job

Got it
Used to use cameras that use AA's but they were bridge types
I know Pentax uses them in the K100D
Thanks

I got contacted from a someone on FLickr wanting to use one of my pictures for a book he is making.

Body of text
I am writing a book that teaches architecture through LEGO, in 7 chapters dedicated to different styles of architecture. Each chapter contains photos of real buildings, and one chapter is dedicated to the Prairie style.

I am looking for a crisp photo of the Harold C. Bradley House, and I love this photo you have on Flickr. I would need a high-res copy for use in the book and you would need to sign a permission form. You would get credit in the book, and I can provide a free copy of the book which is awesome.

Link to your photo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/75128174@N04/14701635466/in/photostream/

If you would like to help, and I hope you will, please reply to this message and provide your email address so I can send you the form and you can share the high-res photos.

Sincerely,
---tom

I am a rank amateur when it comes to photography. Request is flattering. I don't or haven't sold any of my photos and don't really plan to.

So is this a sham or is it real.

I just returned the Sony A6000 16/50 and 55/210 lens also
Nothing compares to image quality of my 5d mkll
Returned a few mirrorless looking for the smaller replacement of the 5d but even with the pancake 40 m m lens on the 5d I can take a shot and zoom in as far as I can and the clarity and resolution is amazing, always good
Tired of looking for a smaller inferior replacement and will have to carry the big boy around until technology catches up with my 5d

Same here-tried an a6000, went back to my SL1. It's small and fun..
Waiting for MILC from Sony with touchscreen...
Take my G12 on trips-pocketable...

Who are these people telling you put a penetrating oil on your lens. Looking for trouble. It is likely to migrate into the lens where it will reside for ever.

Wasn't planning on using oils or lubricants on the lens.

Another good reason not to put cheap filters on the front of lenses. That's what lens caps are for.

When you put a filter on, align it and start to screw it in. If you feel even the slightest resistance before you have finished one whole revolution, slowly back it off until you feel a slight "click", which would be the threads that were misaligned dropping into the correct position. Then reverse direction again and slowly and carefully finish screwing it into place. NEVER force it on.

Exactly.
