Brian, I'm shooting in Taurus m81 and 82 and I'll get things going again. I just wanted to touch base and shoot the s--- , my guiding is getting so much better . I had it going on the best wave line and ended the night by kicking a tripod leg , knocking out the alignment and to top it off when I went to look in the finder knocked the guide camera and my night was over. It was a good night to EAA on the two targets. I'm now shooting 2 channels a night from my drive with car headlights and LED streetlights that they just changed. Zenith is the best for collecting data , my best subs are between 50 and zenith when I can get my equipment doing right instead of making me kick "DIRT".

RFB , I use a Qhy5 llll M and in phd2 are you selecting "on camera" and did you download one of the files as a zip and run as an administrator. otherwise it just won't work. I saved the setup procedure just in case and I'm glad I did, I've had to download the driver again when I got my Asus i5.

Well , I've had 4 nights of pretty awesome sky and haven't been able to hit a lick . I see my target in both cameras and I be damned that Sgp won't run a sequence .{KICKING AND HOLLARING!} It's my own fault and since getting an Ha filter before Turkey day things have just gone wrong every night. Ed did get me going but, trying to get the Ha focused since then has been a pain. Sgp , wants to screw me up by switching back to lum to autofocus even after I change it in control panel . I have called and you haven't called back check your phone Brian. I pretty tired of Sgp not remembering my info and having to reinput camera and filter info is driving me crazy in the dark. So , how was your time out under the stars?

Brian , you've collected .some awesome data and next time around you'll collect even more. It takes me several years to collect enough to satisfy my curiosity . I get what I can get and that's all I can do , Keep it up Brian . I just got a Ha Narrowband filter and have yet to be able to get any imaging time.

Ed , this weather has been nasty for so long . The nights that I've been able to get out has been spent on getting my rig back to where it used to be before breaking the Declination motor casing doing a plate solve on Rigel. I'm swapping parts from my older lxd55 mount that now has a weight limit of 1/2 the max load. I can't understand why the plate solve took it so far and wanted to run into the tripod plate . I guess I should've set the meridian flip to before the meridian rather than at the meridian , it does stick out a couple inches more than the factory base . I love what you're catching and I'm jealous as ---- but, I'll be out there hopefully soon and get more testing done.

Thank you Dick , it's been a heck of a ride. Plenty of learning mistakes but, I'll keep striving for improvement as my rig develops. I get what I can, when I can .

Thank you Craig , I had to run that in "live stacking" in Sharpcap . Ed got me my autofocus setup in Sgp later that night , the next night my dec motor casing broke from running into the mount . I took the non- repairable casing off and used a plastic lunch meat container and duck tape and put it back on. All that's left is testing after 7 days of rain moves out. It sure is pretty for my 1st try on this target with this camera.

Since getting the Handbook on imaging processing by Richard Berry & James Burnnel my processing skills are improving instead of insanely doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result . I'm finding that each target has a slightly different workflow , some tools are better earlier and some later in the process. I'm getting a handle on it and not getting so frustrated. Time is all it takes. I test 1st then I collect all the data over several nights and love playing with my archived data to improve .
