The search for the perfect fall colors appears to have ended. Today my daughter (the beautiful blond in photo #4 whose face you can't see) walked the Pend d'Oreille Bay Trail, an easy two mile walk along Lake Pend d'Oreille. We saw everyone from toddlers to geezers enjoying the weather and the colors, which are at their peak. It is easily the most beautiful fall walk I have taken. No PP. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them, but I doubt it. If you like these, I have two hundred more. :)
It's nice to see some action in wildlife photos. Good shots.

It is beautiful up there, sp much so I am planning on relocating up there (sister lives in CdA). I am considering greater Spokane area, but not ruling out ID (retirement tax advantage of WA). Any suggestions?
We moved from Western Washington to Post Falls Idaho, and we love it here. When I retired we looked for a place with lower taxes, fewer crowds, less traffic, and a government that wasn't Looney Tunes, and found it here. Perhaps that's why it's one of the fastest growing areas in the country. I hope it stays lie it is.
My wife and I have been taking several drives lately, while the fall colors last. Today we went to Bonner's Ferry in north Idaho, mostly along the Kootenai River.
Very nice, and sharp as a tack.
Last year I visited Coeur D'Alene, Idaho in the fall and posted some pictures taken along Government Street. This year I live near there, so I can go as often as I want! Government Street is a particularly beautiful spot in the city for fall colors.
Took a drive to west Glacier yesterday, but conditions could have been better. Most pull outs were barricaded off so they could store dormant road equipment. And although the sun was shining outside the park, it stopped at the gate. Tried to make the best of it anyway.
No, but he might become president.
Well! Now I know how I appear to others.
Which is more fun, the balloons or the photo equipment?
