I have the same camera. Do you find the timer function is always getting turned on at the wrong time. Seem when I grip the camera, the palm of my had activates the timer function and when you go to take the photo the timer is shown and for you to press menu to cancel. It happens a lot wearing gloves in the cold weather.

Other than that it does take some great images. Now to get a second one and mount it for stereo shooting.
