I made no reference to Elements, only photoshop and coral Draw. And I was only trying to give Corel the credit it deserves. I did not mean to hurt your feelings.

I thought, which is somethng I shoudn't do, that second curtain flash was to reduce red eye effects.

Corel Draw / Photo Paint consists of several programs. Corel Draw is a vector drawing program and Photo Paint is bit map program. The photo editing of course is done using Photo Paint. It's not cheap but less expensive than Photoshop. As for learning curves they both require a large amount of time to master.

good day everyone I'm new to this site and am enjoying everything I've seen so far. I'm from Toledo, Ohio and use a Nikon D300.
Ive noticed that a person can submit some of their work for suggestions for improvement. Do the files have to be in a certain file format ie JPG? I would like to here some comments on my efforts.

Why does photoshop sell more software than anyone else? Might be because everyone says it's the best. Like a car from Japn is so superior in quality so say everyone. It would appear Toyoto dispelled that myth in the past year. I not saying photoshop is bad but for the price it's not good. Doesn't anyone know about Corel Draw. It does everything photoshop does at half the price.
