Nice photos Durango. I am excited that you got to see a bear close enough to get a picture.

Thanks Judy. It was exciting to see a grizzly so close, but I wouldn't want to be any closer.

That wouldn't be a problem as we're planning on getting a small travel trailer after I retire next year.

Sounds like you be all set then. Congrats on retiring next year.

Gee Shooter, I don't know why you should hesitate to post on this thread. I would love to see what you came up with. Here is my version of the same mountain. Straight out of the camera...straight to photoshop.

I would to see some Shooter's work too. Tony, that's a beautiful shot of the mountain.

You guys are making me insanely jealous.

A couple of questions?
Were there any spouses/significant others? Or just shooters?
Where did you stay?
Were the campgrounds open?

Some of us stayed at Mammoth Hot Springs Lodge in Yellowstone, some stayed in the cabins at Mammoth. I did see a campground at Mammoth. My husband and I made a 2 week vacation out of it, but he did not attend the seminar with me. Everyone had a great time and we learned a lot from MT. Hope that helps.

Great shots Dee! I was wrestling with my tripod in the front seat as I was making a quick get away. You really captured him.

I wanted to thank MT again for a great seminar! I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. MT always took the time to answer my many questions. Looking forward to the June 2014 Seminar.

Don't worry I've got more for next year.

Thanks MT!

Great shots. I love the moose shot. Nice job.

Raymond and I saw another grizzly on our way out of Yellowstone too, but no moose this trip.

We need someone to add HH names to everyone so we can put them together with the names we know from meeting in person.

Glad you made it home safely. It was a fantastic week wasn't it.

Thanks, glad you made it home safely too. Yes, it was fantastic even with the rain, sleet, hail, and snow!

We made it home late Saturday night. It was great to meet MT Shooter and the other Hedge Hogs. I learned a lot and made lots of new friends.

Tony you are right, MT really does know that much and more. Not only does he know photography he can tell you anything you want to know about Yellowstone....amazing!
