DennyT: Your information is great. However, you are way way wrong when you say no one would claim that a W2 is government monitoring. There are lots of people who never even thought about it before you wrote that statement. true. We can not really know. However, it sure explains a lot. His personality defects would certainly be easy to exploit and nourish over the years, would they not?
In general: The term “f**e news” came into use when an accomplished liar decided to use it to describe any news he did not like. He admitted this, but many folks, idolizing him, failed to understand or recognize this. Now we have a guy on here, full of h**e it seems, who similarly to using f**e news language has chosen to call anyone with whom he disagrees, a liar.
This is most certainly distasteful, but also leads one to wonder how far his anger, hatred, and disrespect will lead him. Recently, back in early January, we had a bunch of kindly old tourists who were on a very nice tour of the Capitol building. I guess one or two of them were unhappy with the tour guide and now that whole thing has been exaggerated by a bunch of liars! Who knew. I wonder how many people in that nice group of tourists called people names and assailed their credibility?
Some people, blessed with anonymity, feel free to say anything they want. After all, we have “free speech” in this Country. Just don’t think those that might disagree are accorded the same “freedom of speech” the tourists and some members here claim for themselves!
It doesn’t seem to matter to some that an opinion cannot, by definition, be a lie. It has been pointed out here, many times, that for a lie to be a lie, the unt***h must be known to be untrue and then it has to be stated or published as a fact. Some people seem to understand that almost ancient way of defining a lie. Other people simply don’t care to accept anything unless it fits into their thought pattern. How easy and wonderful life must be when you have your own little fantasy world in which to live!
