I like your list, I really do. It shows some thought process on your part and is also very accurate. Well done.

But let's not forget that there is also the just plain human ability to like something or not. Some people can see the grandeur of the Grand Canyon while others look at it and think, just a hole in the ground. Some look at a beautiful rainbow and think, Anhhhh, nothing to get excited about. Others drive hours or days to Niagara Falls or any other beautiful and spectacular sight all over the world and just don't see the beauty, majesty, or any other similar word the rest of us would use to describe such a sight. We all look at men and women differently too. Some see a beautiful woman such as Dakota Johnson, for example, and think she is just a beautiful woman. Others may see Medusa, just once anyway, and think she is the loviest woman on the planet. We all see things differently. Viva la difference.

My granddaughter loves to put on Grandma’s “magic” readers and pretend she has mystical powers; she said she wanted to “walk on water”. I used MultiExpo app to “superimpose” this image. The original picture was her walking on the road. Don’t ask me how I did it—I’m always playing around with different editing apps such as Snapseed, MultiExpo, Retouch, Photoshop on iPhone and iPad, and Affinity, which I have on our MAC computer. She said she liked it—that’s all that matters! Lol

I’m back!! Been a hectic year and now I hope to stay connected to UHH more often!
Here is one of the color shots of my granddaughter to compare to the b&w pics as requested. Think I replaced the other color one the b&w version. I’ll be posting more soon.

Thanks for you comments.

Beautiful shots! I may be interested in your challenge. I’m an amateur iPhone photographer and am SO looking forward to a trip up the eastern US coast as soon as we feel safe traveling. I have dreamed about this trip for 3 years which a friend of ours here in TX took who is from Delaware. She sent me pics from each state from S.Carolina up to Delaware. We plan on going all the way up to Maine. Keep posting more beautiful pics!

My wife and I were stationed at DM from 1980-84. Lived on base with an awesome view of Mt Lemon from our LR, kitchen and carport. Loved the view and the trip up the mountain! We loved the desert but not the heat so much! Our car didn’t have AC and our house had a “swamp cooler”). We revisited DM where the kids were born but the hospital was only a clinic. Our house Was gone, too, replaced with xeriscaping. Had many photos of the desert and Tucson area as well our first trip across the AZ-Mex border that went “missing” upon our assignment to Germany. Thanks for posting these memories of the cactus flowers!! I’ve attached a recent pic of a lone cactus taken on the Willow City Wildflower Loop, near Fredericksburg. Thx again!

Great photos! Been there several times. Have you been on the all day Indian guided tour through the valley? What a phenomenal experience—my wife and I were the only ones on our “Jeep“. The views were spectacular And our guide was so informative and loved his historic stories. The pictographs were just awesome! We highly recommend this tour!
