Thanks, W90D! I hope you can get back for a visit again.
Thanks, Cameraf4! I find the area to be truly lovely in all seasons. I hope you can make it back soon.
Thanks, Joe! I love the area.
Thanks, Joe! I love the area.
Thanks, FiddleMaker! I believe that is Champlain Mountain, although I may be wrong.
Thanks, Steve! It's been a while since I visited Roques Bluff. I plan to get there again in the next month or two. -Paul
Here are the other three I like. I shot each of these photos as panoramas, using my Nikon D750 with a Tamron 24-70 mm lens at 24 mm mounted on a Benro tripod and ball head. Each panorama is comprised of between 7 - 9 vertically oriented shots that I stitch together in Adobe Camera Raw and finish in Photoshop. -Paul
Thank you, Annie-Get-Your-Gun! You persuaded me to post the others. While not as visually appealing as the one I posted earlier today, they are still not bad. -Paul
Thank you, Properframe! I appreciate the compliment a lot!
Late winter is one of my favorite times of the year, when warmth can be felt in the sun’s rays again and melting is underway. Saturday, 3/9/19, was one of those days in Maine with temperatures in the mid-thirties, lots of sun and not much wind. I decided to take some photos on the Schoodic Loop Road of Acadia National Park, so I headed there in the late morning. I was well rewarded upon arriving, since the weather was spectacular and almost no one else was in the area. -Paul
