[quote=MrBob]Time to move on... Why this same question all the time ? YES, Dedicated cameras are only going to be relevant to folks like us in the " BUBBLE ". Phone cams will get to the point where they will be desirable to 99 % of the population and we will be in the other 1 %. A person wanting to send his or her selfie around the world could not care less about hand held shots in low light... OUR STUFF DOESN'T GIVE THE NEW GENERATION WHAT THEY WANT ! Pure and simple; way too complicated for this enlightened generation and NOT the connectivity they want.

Agreed! Let’s enjoy the art of photography with cameras and all the expensive gears while we can :)

This is a great tribute to our men and women who have and are sacrificing their lives so we stay free! Thank you for sharing!

I’m surprised you given a refund and also told to keep the lens. At least with the refund you were made whole...be grateful you bought from an honest ebayer.

Knowing little Japanese culture and their customs I am not surprised. Most are honourable businessmen and people in general. They thrive to make things right. Their customer service is great!

Dave, I love your passion! Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing!
How do you attract hummingbirds? Do you have a garden with plants and flowers that draw them in? I ask because we are in the process of creating a garden in our backyard and we are planning to grow flowers to attract butterflies.

I had several 8mm and Super 8 movies of our wedding from 1969 and other events which they digitized beautifully. You have to buy a large empty box from them for around $14 which allows you to pack all products you want to have digitized. Return shipping to them is covered. I got them back in about 2-3 weeks. Each movie will be a separate file which you can rearrange later so there is no need to worry about putting them in any sequence. Just label the reels for file identification. I found this to be the cheapest way to convert old movies. You can also keep these files in their website which costs $50/year with unlimited storage space which is a great deal. Alternatively, you can download from their website.
Hope this helps!
