I re-read Your Reply and You really turned my BrainBox On. It's Because You put Your Reply with A Very Heartfelt and Positive Manner. I have stated Many Times that ALL OF THE MANUFACTURES ARE PUTTING GREAT EQUIPMENT FOR US TO CHOOSE FROM. If You want to know who I think is a great Company, I would tell You FUJI, look at their Color Resolution. And I think that they are shooting to be the "Poor Man's Leica". My Friend uses on of their latest for shooting Street Photography in New York. We grew up together in Queens and He taught me a lot after I Graduated with a Degree in Forensics. This Friend of mine is nothing short of being a Geek that really knows Photography and how to edit the most difficult Images. He drives me nuts because I invite Him back to Michigan twice a Year for a Game and he has a Key to My Loft and My Wife leaves Notes on things and He just does not listen, but by the Time I roll in, he has totally reorganized my LRC CC Catalogue and then edits Photos based on the difficulty. Oh well, as long as does good work then it does not matter to me.

Your facts are incorrect. For example, the new Nikon 400/2.8 with a 1.4 TC, available only in mirrorless version, is $ 14k. I know, I have one! The Z9 is a D850 AND a D6 in one package, but on a huge dose of steroids (IMHO)!! For sports, the Z9 shines, period. As with film bodies, some DSLRs will continue to be produced, but you can expect the pro level bodies to go away not too far in the future. If you want to continue to flail your arms and resist, that is just fine, but you will be left behind quickly. I am also a pro sports guy and I have completely switched to mirrorless bodies. Nikon makes enough stellar Mirrorless lenses to allow that, with more to come. Best of luck.

I told You straight up that I Own A Z9 and A Z7II., what part of my message is unclear. I'am under Contract with the NCAA and I shoot Michigan Football and Michigan Basketball and I mix Hockey in and Baseball. I'am involved in the Recruitment Areas and I help work the Bench for the High Profile Games. But, this Year I ventured off to also shoot Women's Softball and Basketball. I use my 600mm f/4 on my Z9 with the New FTZII adapter. I have a 400mm f/2.8 and I use a 1.7 teleconverter that lens to my D850. I have My 500mm 5.6 attached to my D500 and for day games I use My D500 with a 1.4 Teleconverter, which is the TC1.4 III and really does not degrade IQ. I float different lenses to my D6, which I really don't need to use on Game days, but if I do break i t out I just use my 600mm f/4., So Do Not Look at Me As Someone Flailing Their Arms. I'm pretty much up to Par with My Lenses and I have been at this level for 43 yrs. now, Shoot I'am getting Old. LOL

I know what you are saying, but my Nephew who knows nothing about Photography and Cameras bought 15 D500's, 20 D850's, and 10 780's, and finally 10 D5's. He has sold some of them to People in Israel where Our Family is from and they paid him the first and actual price for some of these Cameras because they can't seem to get their hands on certain Models. He bought the D500's for 1200 a piece and sold 8 0f them for 1600 here in the U.S. and 3 to the Middle East for 2400 bucks. I guess that there are problems in Dubai and Saudi Arabia with people not being able to get USA products due to shipping backups and these People already have Money to burn. In fact, every Baby that is Born In Kuwait or the other 2 aforementioned Countries get 1.5-2.5 Million Dollars in a Trust Account for them and it pays Interest so they will actually have 2.5 times that much when they are 18yrs. Old. I personally know a Kid that is attending the University Of Michigan, where I Graduated From, and He showed me what the Government back Home wants of Him and He Does it. He can spend whatever He wants and He just Bought a new Loft in Ann Arbor for $550,000 in cash.

I don't buy into the mirrorless but I think they will stop making DSLR and their lenses soon rather than few more years. I think they have stopped production on many of the models that are still in their line up. They just sell off whatever they have.

They are still producing the Nikon D6 and the D850. People still want DSLR's and I happen to Love My Z9, but my D850 and D6 along with My Crop-Sensor D500 can produce Images that are on par with the Sony A1, Canon R3, and the Nikon Z9. I just feel that these Manufacturers are going to have push back from Photogs of all Genres and uses for a decent Camera and they don't want to take the time to learn a Mirrorless System or have to buy expensive Memory Cards like CF Express or QXD's. Tell me what You think. Nikon moved into a New Plant in Taiwan to have the ability, if it arises, to kick Production of DSLR's once again. I do have a friend that is a Nikon Rep. and he has even told me that nothing is a done deal in this crazy World of Photography. It would be a lot cheaper for People to come up with $2900.00 for a D850 than $5700-7000 for a Mirrorless. Remember this by the end of the Final Shareholders report that comes out by next March.

What or Who's Comment are You referring to. It came up under my Post and I was wondering who You were referring to. And nobody here is wasting space on their Computer as Most have everything Backed Up on SSD's, the Cloud or even a NAS Storage that i must use to retrieve Images from even a Year and a Half ago.

You have to tell me if I can Download this APP to my iPhone 11XR. This is the coolest thing that I have heard of. And can I still set my FPS to 13-15 CH on my Z9 or even D500. I swear, You always pull the Trump Card, and I'am not talking about Pres. 45. You My Friend are really innovative and all that I also need to know is, Can I still use Continuous Focusing. WOW!!

You seem surprised by my statement. You should have heard how we talked in the Queens N.Y. Field Office. Now that deserved a Wow. I did get a little snarky, but I come from a long line of P.O.'s you know Law Enforcement, except for the Life that My Father Lived. He disowned me and told every Family Member that they were not allowed to have any Contact with me. He was in with Carmine Persico and Sonny Francese, You can look these Names up and the Only Reason that I can mention them is that they are all Dead, My Father should be as he has Dementia and I went to see Him 3 years ago and He Did Not Know Who I was, I went there to the place to apologize and tell Him that I Loved Him, which I did anyways. I mean, at Least He Had The Entire Family Come from Back Home in Queens and Michigan and ordered me to Say what a Great GrandFather He was to My First Son who blew up in Afghanistan and 2yrs. later when my Youngest Died From Cystic Fibrosis. My Family was not allowed to attend my First Wedding and when she was killed by a Drunk-Driver My Own Father sent me a Sympathy Card and told me "Well I Told You That She Would Make You Grieve and Maybe Next Time You Will Listen To Me". Some Wow that is a terrible Wow. As I have gone over this Thread I will apologize to Paul as CHG_Canon did not deserve to have someone say what I did, and You know why I feel the Need to apologize? Because I was wrong and Having a Moment as I'am coming up on the Anniversary of My Son's departure from my Life. I feel like a total, uneducated idiot and may that is why I now have to battle my Health Issues which are Terminal but I will Win.

You need to review Paul’s thousands of helpful posts, his outstanding image presentations (see the treads he’s started or his website) and his equipment list below his signature before you get in any deeper. You are operating from very limited knowledge, and shooting from the hip (and are missing the humor in his quips)

My Fellow UHH Member, I stated that Paul is intelligent and He Has Even Put Editing Tips on this Forum in some of His Threads, not Treads as You wrote. I do truly respect Paul, but I don't need to see space wasted on one-liners that are not even Funny. We should be somewhat loose on this Forum that the Admins. do a Great Job and Service for us. I never shoot from the Hip on or towards anyone, I had a very rewarding career in the Fight against Drugs and would still be doing it if I had not been shot and almost lost my entire Right Arm from the Shoulder on Down, and if I had not Buried 2 Sons with their Mother preceding them when my Youngest was 2. We do need Humor here and I love it, but the same old redundant lines get old. I watch Old Johhny Carson Shows on YouTube with Don Rickles as the Guest and its is Funny. I also have Old Saturday Night Live Tapes that I Watch. Now, if You Think That I Have Limited Knowledge, You do not even know me. So, if You don't like me calling someone out then don't You even try to Judge me. I tried to do a Good thing for Your Kids, My Kids, and many others by keeping them from doing Drugs and I will not tolerate someone who says that basically, I'am Ignorant. Let's just stop it as we all have a right to make an opinion, You know "Free Speech", I'm not a Woke Person.

As an LR user, you don't need -- nor need to know -- ACR. Adobe Camera Raw exists still simply to support those who refuse to learn and use the far, far superior Lightroom prior to moving into PhotoShop. Lightroom software they pay monthly to use. All of the programming of ACR sits behind / inside LR, with LR's superior and enhanced and feature-rich user interface.

Now back to regular programming.

Enhance does perform better in Photoshop CC just so You know. I tested Lightroom Classic CC and it does not do the job that PS does. Now, ACR is all that Moose Peterson uses, You remember the old Gray-Haired Best in the World Wildlife Shooter who was once an Ambassador for Your Lovely Canon, but now has jumped to Nikon since last Year. Don't ever forget this, and I was and still do things as a Fed. Drug Agent (Retired, But once I was Out They Pulled Me Back In) and I was taught when I was in My 20's, there is always a Money Trail that the People will Follow.

Well Nick I think folks should use whatever suits their needs and likes... prob. those doing higher volume like the catalog perks of Lightroom. I myself just use the old file and folder technique. Serves my needs and I am happy. For me its easy and I am used to my little slider refinement process etc... I pay monthly and I still think it is a bargain even though I only use ACR.

Oh I agree With Your Statements regarding that People should USE whatever system works for them. I use the Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop Classic CC and LR Classic CC and I use the Graphics and Vectors processes And I Do Use Adobe Camera Raw. I have to because my deals with the NCAA and The NFL, PGA Golf ASSOCIATION, THE NHL, And THE MLB require that we must be up on everything that is ADOBE. So Please Understand that I use these Editing Tools and they are paid for by every entity that I have involvement with. I had to use these Products while working as a Fed.. And to be truthful, I still use the Old File and Folder technique on My iMAC Desktop and My MACBOOK PRO.. It actually makes me feel good that You do the same things that I do. And I would be willing to bet that they call You a Dinosaur just like that is what I'am referred to as well, but I also use Topaz DeNoise AI and Sharpen AI. Topaz has bailed me out a few times when I have pushed the ISO past 2200. The Camera Companies can tell me all day that My Z9, D5 and D6, along with the D850 and even the D500 can produce an Image with no Noise issues, right, I have not found One Camera where You can shoot at 3200 ISO and not have to reduce Noise in Post. The Types of Shots that I have to take and do even with Fast Glass, they still have Noise that I have to get Out to turn in my Images and Topaz helps me more that LRC CC. SO, what I'am trying tho say is that I kind of do the old Folder system because I like being able to just pull Images from my Computers instead of the Cloud and I do have a NAS System by Synology and I do backup in Time Machine, Dropbox, and iCLOUD Drive.

Sorry but you’re wrong. DSLR’s are done. Oh they’ll keep working fine but there will be no new development. It just doesn’t make sense for them to keep making DSLR’s. Yes they still have a ways to go before they have as robust a lens lineup as they do for DSLR’s but they’ve come a long way in the past few years and the fact is those lenses will work as well and in some cases better using adapters. As for prices, good lenses have never been cheap. I don’t see how anyone could complain about a quality 800mm lens for $1000, even if it is f/11. And yes that great Nikon 400 f/2.8 with the built in 1.4 TC is pricey, but the F mount version isn’t much less and lacks the TC.
Sorry but you’re wrong. DSLR’s are done. Oh they’... (show quote)

I bought the Nikon Z7II and now the Z9. I will be fine, but I have organized A 3 HighSchool deal with the School District to form a Teaching about Photography. So far all of my Students are equipped with New Mirrorless Cameras. But, my Fear is that others will not be able to get their hands on this equipment in the next set of Seniors to use in My Class. Now, I have told you that you are always posting the right replies. Well, if you think that a 800mm F/11 Lens is good, Come’on Man, you know that the Lens is not good at all. Rather, I would consider it to be on a Shelf near You at Your Local Walmart. I just feel that the demand for DSLR’s will be around for about 5-7 years and there will be Enthusiasts will provide a demand for DSLR’s. So do not believe what you hear or see from a Press Release. Corporate will always do what is needed to give them A Profit to show Shareholders that they will do whatever it takes to pay dividends or increase in the value of the shares. Now, like I said, I have gone Mirrorless already but I will never part with my D5, D850, D500 or D6. So you stated that they are not going to produce DSLR’s, well Nikon is still kicking D6’s and D850’s out on the Production Lines. So, please let me know what you think as I respect your honesty when it comes to Equipment that we use.

Lists, I Will Show a List For CHG_Canon. I do and have done everything on You Grocery Lists. I do not see any purpose in answering to Your Whims on How we do what we should be doing. So, what I'am trying to get across to Paul, You are like Jeckyl and Hyde. You couldn't;t put out Your infamous one-liners telling us about How Great Canon is and How inferior that Nikon is. You are not some Great Teacher, in fact Your Humor at other's that truly need advice and You come back with, Well if you don't have a full-frame Camera, then give it up or if You still have that Mirror Slap, then give this Photography game up. Just keep Your Lists to Yourself until You Become a Man, and build some Respect back up, then we can talk. You are very easy to Profile as I did that when I was a Fed., so make Yourself Relevant and then I will tolerate you a little more.

Well, I have broad shoulders and not adverse to ridicule so I have to say I LOVE ACR and have no use or desire for Lightroom... Been using it for years and am very happy as a very low volume user. Suits my mediocre needs and is easy to use.... Too old to be convinced so just " Pass on by, meet on the corner ".

Well, I use ACR and have Zero Problems. I shoot College (University of Michigan) and Our 4 Pathetic Pro Teams, but I also do a lot of Wildlife and Birds in Flight or Stationary if it is a Lazy Morning for the Herons and Egrets. I put everything through ACR and I have never encountered any problems. Now, a Friend of Mine Moose Peterson always develops a Professional Edit and Wallhangers by using ACR . I have the entire Adobe Creative Cloud Plan at $10.99 a month, So I have all of these tools at my disposal and I'am Supposed to listen to CHG_CANON tell us that it is inferior to Lightroom Classic CC? Mind You that He has Stated in other UHH Threads that He uses Adobe Lightroom 6. He is very knowledgeable about the Adobe Creative Suite, but why does he waste His own time with LRC 6? and just for the Record, the only Guy that I have seen Rival His Strut is Our Own Steve Perry and He has the program going places.
