That's the one I have been considering. So it works rather well then? Can you focus with it?
Thank you for the replies everyone. I will begin the research this weekend.
Thank you, but seeing how it was my first time...I did not notice. I'm usually particular when I look at what I shot. Then again I hadn't looked at those photos since July. That particular shot was 21 seconds with a 20mm 1.4 Sigma lens.
The Milky Way shot was just from outside of Cannonville, Utah. Only fitting since use Canon
Absolutely awesome. Really like that waterfall!
Well looks like the new guy here forgot the Milky Way photo...:) oops.
Re visited the West last July, and I sure do miss it. So if I can figure out how to post more than one I will. Cathedral Rock in Sedona, Az. Red Hollow Slot Canyon in Orderville, Ut. and Horseshoe Bend in Page, Az. and my first try at the Milky Way. Needless to say I have to return this year to reshoot the Milky Way. Plan is to hit Arches National Park, The House of Fire, and Monument Valley. I hope I can make it work out. All things I did not do while I lived at the G.C.N.P.
Interesting, I found one very similar, but not exact on my theater photo. I think it's just about impossible to keep someone from using them. I have not created a website yet, and plan to in the future. I don't use any social media websites, not even facebook (gasp) :)
Well everyone thank you for the welcoming to the site.
I do have a wired remote good for only certain heights and of course ground level. I'm not wanting to purchase another remote (wireless - yet).
I will post pictures later as I do not have them with me here at work, but I was wondering if any here use a remote app from their phone? If so how does it work? Do you need to be connected at all times to wi fi? I have not set my camera yet for wifi. I use a Canon 6D. I have two tripods in which one has been modified so I can shoot from (guessing as I haven't fully extended yet) 15 to 30 feet up to get other angles of shots. Anyway, remote app users help me out please and thank you.
Found this one in Franklin, Indiana so I had to shoot it. There isn't to many around this nice.
Photo number three as I scroll down. The rock which would be to the left of the plateau trail is called "The Battleship". You see the Grand Canyon is my old stomping grounds from 1982 to 1989. Yes it was a wonderful backyard. Battleship was also my first hike. I revisited this past July. Great photos. I hope you enjoyed the trip.
The bridge is in Rush County Indiana. Locally it is known as the 2nd Covered Bridge.
