I have a Sigma 50mm Macro and a Tamron 90mm Macro, both Canon EF mount. I use them on a Canon 5D III on a DIY Copy Stand. The 50mm for larger and the 90mm for smaller items. This works well for me.

I had one when I got married in 1966. It was black, and I think the engine was called the J-2. The shift lever was on the column with reverse at the bottom, if I remember correctly. It was a pretty comfortable car to ride in.

I too had a black 1958 Olds for a short while, it also had the J2 engine option which meant it had 3 2barrel carburetors. Lots of chrome inside and out. My dad used to say you had to shut the engine off at the gas pump to gain on it.

I second the VueScan recommendation, I've been a VueScan Pro, (lifetime upgrades) user for longer than I can remember and am using it with my 8800F on Windows 11 Pro. Marvelous program.

My Canon 5D Mark IV is in for repairs (the joystick). But I feel naked as a Jay bird with out my camera over my shoulder. I have been alternating between my EOS Rebel 2000, my AE-1 and my 1v-HS. It seems there is plenty to photograph here in NYC.

I'm interested in what the cost of your joystick repair will cost. The joystick "knob" fell off on my 5DIII. When I called my camera store for repair advice, I was told I would have to send it to Canon Canada. I decided to try to fix it myself and miraculously I manage to get it back on. If it falls off again, I will have to make the decision to fix or upgrade. Thanks in advance.

I believe there was an article in National Geographic about it at the time. They sawed it into pieces, numbered the pieces, moved the pieces to another location and reassembled them. An engineering feat for the ages.

I had, actually still have a Canon EOS Elan 7E Date which has that feature but I truly can't remember if or how well it worked.

I too, grew up among smokers. Both parents, 4 of my 5 sisters and me since age 16. I quit, cold turkey at 28, as an example to my 2 children. Unfortunately they both started and still smoke, though not as much as I did, thanks to the no smoking laws in our country.

I have Office Pro 2007 on a Windows 11 Pro computer but just last week took the plunge to Office 365. I kept the Office Pro 2007 installed because it has Access and Office 365 doesn't. So far have only used Excell from the new Office 365.

I have an xps8940 Dell Win 11 Pro and Canon Pro9000 working fine. Try the Pro9000 Mark II driver. This is from sketchy memory, I'll look it up.
