Is it Jupiter aligning with Mars? Will the moon be in the seventh house? Is it the dawning of the Age of Aquarius?

I remember the first few times I went for a walk in my favorite park, without our dog, who passed about a year ago. It felt very empty and took a long time to start feeling okay again. I miss him every day.

I've been extremely frustrated with this progam for the last two to three years. Accepting and installing the frequent updates has been a problem in that it wants me to close a number of "processes" to complete the update. It's easy enough to close all of them them as a batch, except one - Backblaze. This program reacts to closing it by continually relaunching itself thus preventing the update. I had the identical problem when I used Carbonite.

And then, there's the ongoing problems interfacing with the two banks we use. Quicken keeps telling me that it can't complete the updates and asks me to "reauthorize" the communication with the bank. On one of our accounts, I have completed this reauthorization process no fewer that six times, but the problem persists.

If I considered all of the time I spent trying to resolve these issues, I'd be better off just building an Excel spreadsheet to do what I need. Of course, Quicken support is useless. They insist that the problem is caused by other programs that I am running. Never mind the fact that I'm only running conventional software and have no such problems with any other programs.

At the next subscription renewal, I'm out for good.

This has happened to me MANY times. Sometimes I spend nearly as much time looking for what I need for a project as I spend doing the project.

And let's not forget those who pay in cash, slowly fishing around in their handbags or pockets to provide the EXACT payment down to the last penny. Or, even better, slowly and methodically writing a check. Almost without exception, I end up in one of these lines!

Add “supply chain issues” to those excuses.

"Swats"? The teachers can't even touch the kids, let alone swat them. They can't speak harshly to them, either. Parents have more clout in the schools than the teachers and administrators. There is always the threat of a lawsuit hanging in the air. The teacher can tell the kids to be quiet, but that's about it.

Agreed, especially the part about not even being able to use harsh language.

Nice set. Thanks. My wife and I spent ten days in the Holy Land a few years ago. Your post brought back some nice memories.

Jerry, I have Spectrum (NYC) and their modem and routers are separate. I had them replace and update both and found that my connections/speeds in other areas of the house were still lousy. I went with Eero mesh network. 2 devices. One in the office/main area with a switch to cover my other connections; and one in the other side of our home. The desktop in the office is connected wirelessly as is the printer. All devices..and there are loads...laptop, iPads, Kindles, over 15 smart switches, Drobo, iRobot........ all work without interruption or issues. This is just from my laptop....
I went with two 6+ routers. The 6 may work for you as well. If one works for you then still worth a try. You can easily add if you wish.

I used an Eero mesh network as well. It works great.
