hi. two options in my experience .in Belfast there is a company named black cab tours..interesting informed drivers take you all over Belfast.they will delve into history past and present..will stop for photos any where you like and will show you well off the beaten path places.. second option is a company named tours by locals..I have used them several times in many countries..very helpful and if you read guides bio many have photography backgrounds and lots of help..have been to Ireland several times but Northern Ireland only once..there is a different feel to the place..almost a tension but with the history one can understand why. the europa hotel was once the most bombed hotel in the world. journalists would stay there and I was told majority of bombings were for attention to the cause rather than to kill "foreigners"..anyway its a safe place now. if possible stop in the crown saloon..one of if not the oldest in Belfast..amazing wood work and ceiling great photo op but very dark..walk the old walls in derry..ther are guide all over offering tours. also headed back in October for two weeks.enjoy your trip, jim

katu41. check out "tours by locals" web site ..I have used them in many cities and they are of great help..they drive, show you what you want and you get to see the scenery and not worry about driving and navigation..they also may show you off the beaten path photo areas without so many visitors..have always been happy with the service.good luck, jim
