Thanks for the images and a bit of history. I am kind of a Civil War buff and this is really an interesting addition to the lore of that period.

Once again, your composition is top notch. The smoothness of the silo contrasted with the starkness of the tree makes a most interesting visual image. Nice capture and good work with the black and white.
