Thursday was a very sad day for us. We had to put out wonderful companion, Nelly, down after 16 years. Here are some photos of her taken over the years.

My condolences. We have a 16 year old chocolate Pomeranian with health issues, and that day is coming for us. I dread it.

It's a hard decision but I have found over the years with both Cats and dogs that a few days too early is preferable to a days few days too late.

My heart hurts for anyone who has to do this because I have had to do it so many time and I know exactly how it feels. They are our babies and when it's time, we grieve so hard! Nelly was a beauty. I'm sure you spoiled her...I'm sure she deserved it. You will remember the good times.

My condolences Mike. Never gets easier. We have been there to many times with many pets. Nelly was one cute pup.
