Those photos from that country bring back scary memories, but to see your colorful pictures of a country at peace is a beautiful thing! Keep traveling Doc and keep the photos coming

I can’t be sure if I had chicken pox as a kid, I’m 76 now. 10-12 years ago I had tremendous pain on my left side-back,face,leg and my doctor said it was muscular emanating from my back. A week later when the pain and agony was worse he rediagnosed my problem as shingles. In my life this was the worse pain I have ever experienced and I never take days off from work, but I did for this.My advice is to get vaccinated for shingles. We have a house on LBI. I know about the taxes.

I owned a business and a house in North Jersey so it’s a battle to stay ahead.

Great catch and photo.

Anytime I see a bottom feeder that big, I remember the channel catfish was had in Belize City where we lived for three years right after Elsie and I were married. They were the garbage system for the city, and no one ate them. Now the much smaller lake catfish I caught with a friend in New Hampshire right after our junior year in college, they were super delicious after we skinned them. --Richard

Hey Richard on of these days we will keep one and cook it. Tom

Jasayen,

Nice fish ,there is so much more to Jersey as you say ! Nice that it was thrown back, as I always say , "I'll catch him another day"
originally from Jersey !

If I’m not going to eat ‘em,he goes back no worse for wear. Thanks for commenting Chiroman8

True! And it also has one of the best education systems in the USA, paid for by taxes.
I've lived in NJ for 73 of my 85 years. Loved it the entire time.

I’ve been here 76 years and have experienced the good and the bad. The grass is always greener on the other side, right? The tax’s are high, education is there for you and we are close drive to Pa.,Catskills, seashore and lots of great places.
