Sorry, ArtBob. Have had to do that too many times and I never got used to it. They still live in my heart and the photo's taken. May your heart find healing.
Looks like a 'Quakertown Blow Fish.' I used to find one or two scattered around your area this time of Spring. A similar species, the 'Perkasie OpenuporI'llblowyourhousedown', can also be found this time of year, but they are very shy and the few photos of them seem to be few and far between.
Ha ha, we're pretty similar in taste (is that our age?). Living in the Jacksonville, FL, area now, I like to say I live on a dirt road off the soft road, off the hard road. I put about 25000 miles on my car each year traveling to PA and Maine visiting my sons, plus road trips around the country. I would be at a loss without my music, and a variety, to boot.
I do carry my cameras with me but I'm shoddy with what I capture. Shoot 1000 save 10. Oh, well.
I have 3 32 Gig chips (not full, mind you, yet, but adding) of music that I can listen to in my car that I switch out monthly. I have an eclectic taste in music except for Opera and rap. The genres I can't get into.
When I retired, one of my goals was to digitize all my music into mp3's. I'm only a quarter way there after 15 years. At 80, I guess that's not gonna happen (damn photography!).
In my collection, I have over 1800 vinyls and nearly 900 CD's. Then there are 22 Gigs of downloads. I listen to them all once a week... LOL
Thanks.
I would have liked the foreground to have been a bit brighter, but I kept messing it up so I let it alone.
Ah ha. I missed the check box to 'store original'.
Thanks, Linda.
To return the favor... Two of my favorites (of so many in that era)
Ahmad Jamal's 'Blue Moon'. Exceptional percussion.

John Coletrane's 'My Favorite Things'

Always love your selections, Mark. Thanks again.

I clicked 'Add attachment' but it doesn't show up. Suggestions?
I've tried to work with Paint shop Pro 9, Faststone, and (just learning) Affinity. Not a composite, and did do a bit of PP that I thought would enhance the image.
I like it anyway. Thanks for looking in.
Larry
Great scene, great photo. What a find.
