While I was in Yosemite National Park for a week in Feb we sure had a variety of weather. A couple times a day we drove to the top of the mountain to a place called Tunnel View, because of the tunnel up there, and you get a view over the valley. The view was ever changing and always awesome

Beautiful photos, nice work

Going through some 2016 photos from the Krochel Wildlife Center in Misquito Lake AK, I found these images of a red fox. This rescue habitat has animals some of which were raised from very young to injured adults which cannot be returned to the wild. This fox was in an enclosure and we were inside with the animal and Steve Krochel. The biggest issue in photographing the fox was his high energy level and speed. He would run between our legs and only stopped to catch his breath, twice. All images were shot with a Canon 5D3, 70-200 f 2.8 ISO 1000 with 1/500 shutter speed.

Planning to fly to Phoenix this Fall and take my basic gear in a small shoulder bag - body, 2 lenses, extra battery, charger, SD card, small stuff. Anything I should be concerned about, other than somebody grabbing my gear?

I use a black backpack for the expensive items and that is my personal item
,plus a carry on with the remaining gear well packed, which gets checked at the gate

A couple of nights ago we had the first clear sky night in awhile. It was time for a star trail shot.
Nikon D7000, Tokina 12-24mm F/4 @ 12mm. SS:30 secs, ISO 200. Annoying plane trails edited out in Photoshop. 243 Images stacked using StarStax: Lighten mode with 4 dark frames. Final image tweaked in Photoshop: Hue/Saturation adjustments. Nik: ColorEFEX Pro plugins. A big Thank you to Keith Carroll for the invite.

Here are some shots from yesterday morning around Bahia Honda state park in the FL Keys. Had to get up at 3am as the brightest spot of the Milky Way doesn't start rising until that time, this time of year.

Awesome photos. I was there last April and have daytime photos of the same areas. I especially like the Milky Way one.

While the temps hovered around minus 22 I stood waiting for the sunrise knowing that it would illuminate the frozen grass n the foreground. I waited for the sun to hug the side of Mt Rundle and give me a great sunburst. It was cold but worth the wait. The cover image appears dull.. the download is much better. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for everyone’s help. I have the G2 version. I did some test shots with a tripod as recommended and the lens is not focusing clearly at all, especially at 70mm. It was better at 24mm. I am in the process of shipping to Tamron for adjustments. I really appreciate all of the input and feel better because I was always blaming myself for out of focus images.

May I please have some help with some hints on how to get my images in better focus. These photos were taken with Canon 80D and Tamron 24-70 lens. My daughter did some posing for me. Her face is out of focus in every shot I took. I used single point focus on her eyes in every shot. Is this camera shake or am I doing something wrong?

I took a few hundred photo's so I thought I would share a few of them! ;) There were a lot of other photographers doing much the same as I was! I will share more as I process them.
