These are stunning pictures. You have captured the essence of Ak., beautifully.
ggiaphotos. I agree about Utah. It has unlimited photo ops. The more time a person has makes for more great spots to capture beautiful landscapes. Squirl033 has a great one. Sure would like to know what post edit was done.
ckcouger. Very nice shots. Is that a sunrise or sunset. I live on the east side of the state. You must be on the west coast. Sunrises on my side are great. I'm wondering about how you get sunrise shots like your post. Is really a sunrise? Or sunset.

I just got a new Canon 60D camera, how do these look? Thanks.
How do you like the 60D. I cuddle with a 50D. Your pics tell the story. Your talent is capturing. It takes a lot of patience to catch great butterfly shots. Do you have any hummingbirds in your library.
Sure is a lot different from a plane. I enjoy flying. The views are so different, but I like getting down to earth with things for photos. Maybe some day I can go on a photo flight.
This is a great capture SJD. The composition is fantastic. Love the cruise ship silhouette.

Jackndback,
Nice shot of the Roosevelt Bridge. Was it taken from the Pelican Restaurant end?
Thanks amatooch. I was across the river at the fishing docks, looking back at Titusville.
I salute your talent on the sunset shots. Makes me want to learn post editing for sure.
Thank you alponton. I hung up photography in the early 70's and came back in 2009. I need to learn digital photography and editing. This pic was taken across from the newest causeway. I just move back to Fl. in january, so some things have changed. This is one that attracted my interest.
Took this picture tonight. Weather was perfect for comfort, except for the 3 lb. mosquitos. Being a newbe, would welcome and appreciate critiques and comments. Used canon 50D, 24-70mm f2.8. 6", f8, iso 100.
Your wave pisture is one that I like like like. Great color and focus. I saw a little of the Mohave last year. Was impressed with the raw beauty. If only I could have captured the same like you did beautifully.
I'd be happy with all three in on my hard drive. Renomike has it right. Opinions are one of our special rights that are available to all. This is something about the forum that is very entertaining and educational.
This is a great shot. I do like Steve's edit. I like to be pulled to the main subject without too much competition in the frame.
